Site Still Showing Old Version of Site - WHY?

Grrrr.

After having problems with a hack I decided to delete all the content and restore from a backup.

I deleted the files but the hack remained so I contacted my host who told me they couldn't see my IP as I was using Cloudflare.
I then changed the DNS from Cloudflare back to my host.

It's now 24 hours later and I am still seeing the hacked site.
If I visit on my phone I see the page I would expect to see.

I have used CCleaner to delete all cache and cookies. I have used CMD to flushdns
If I ping the site I get the page I would expect to see.

If I use crawl as Google it shows the good page.

Why then is my laptop and another laptop in our house still showing the hacked site?

try pressing ctrl + F5

Could be simply matter of propagation.

Or right click and hold down shift while clicking reload / refresh

Also, PM me the URL and I'll check for you if you like? See what I get from the UK? Having NEVER been to the site before...

I don't think it will help. I know the issue is local to me. Maybe the DNS hasn't fully propagated yet. Thanks anyway though.

I can't F5 because my site instantly redirects due to the hack.

have a look in your host file
under windwos it is usually under c/windows/system32/drivers/etc

look if there is an entry with your domain there

if it is clean it lookis like that:

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost

here you can also set the new IP for your site by adding

the new ip adress and website name

i.e.

123.123.123.1 yoursitename.com

you have to edit this file with administrator rights in the normal editor and safe it.

after that start your browser again and it should work.
