In which areas does the adult industry needs to improve?

Well its a pretty broad question. But lets discuss here, the areas where adult industry needs serious improvements and better service providers?

Is it content, payment processing, web design, traffic, affiliate programs, ad networks, staffing, marketing solutions, cloud?

I would like to see an adult domain marketplace, GFY forum is probably only useful site. Huntingmoon is dead, adultflippa isn't enticing enough. Others have no traffic to mention. More content options for white label parking eg tubes, pic posts. Cam sites have taken over. The whole point is to make own content etc and yes it is most successful but there are people with great domains parked elsewhere not used. The competition and marketplace has changed. I would like to see a revival of the warning page and AVS age verification systems. Free porn changed everything into selling traffic. Only takes a few politicians to change the game again. If your going to immediately commit to it needs to be content based or be dissolved into the sea of services. Do you want to do something webmaster resources related?

You have covered a lot of good points.
Yes, I want to know what other resources adult webmasters feel to be lacking in the adult industry?

Improved communications

An affiliate program aggregator like CCBILL or like EpochStats was, with a modern approach and tools.

Even better if it supports multiple billers (not just as a cascade), and pays the affiliates for the sales from all.

Institute a rule which states "the male talent shall keep his hands off his dick at the end of a scene and let the hot girl do the job".

Faster and Higher definition Tube sites.

Most of what the OP suggested can be done easily. Just costs more money.

Content, Design, web design, traffic, affiliate programs, ad networks, staffing, marketing solutions, cloud. All can be improved by paying more.

What is lacking the most is the integration of much of the above. Especially in regards to payment processors, affiliate program software providers and CMS providers to content providers. There should be a consortium of the few big players in each space to create some turn key solutions.

What are the challenges to create one, and why is no one already doing that? Don't you think many people may not be comfortable sharing stats with a third party, and may want to check them at each affiliate individually?

It's a complex service that requires a lot of development and capital.

There are also banking risks involved. Seems like many companies are having issues sending big amounts of money all over the world. EpochStats stopped the affiliate payments for that reason as I recall. A service like this needs to be able to move hundred times the amounts of a single programs, without any issues.

I think there is a market though, still a lot of programs on CCBILL, even new ones. There are many sites using Sliiing, and ModelCentro seems to be growing at a nice pace.

ModelCentro is actually pretty close to this thing, except that they enforce to use their own design framework and biller I think. That's not an option for those who want something more unique. They mainly target solo models who want to open their own site, and other tiny operations.

The adult industry isn't an industry in any meaningful structural sense but the sexual thread that ties us together is strong as are the business difficulties dealing in adult content.

It's possible to have a place online where our haters & cruel spiteful nasty trolls with many fake nics arent allowed to post and we can be creative, post business & brainstorm without the thieves at the top stealing our posted udeas. That place doesnt exist for our industry but it should :thumbsup
