Been playing the old remastered version of Modern Warfare since it came out. But decided to give the 'new game' a try last night. What the hell happened to the series ??:helpme

I played the Campaign and it was pretty good but sick of the future settings. Never even went near Multiplayer as i heard it was shit. The live stream is on for the new World War 2 game on the gaming sites now

For me multiplayer is just unplayable. I know you start with a shitty gun, but it puts you in games with people with guns that take you out with 1 hit, yet you can be behind someone and shoot them 10x but they can still turn around and kill you first.

Plus the maps seem tiny to me. You die. Respawn. Kill or be killed every 5secs. The crazy kangaroo jumping doesn't help that.

Quite simply, not fun...

I play Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare on PC, multiplayer, on a regular basis. Still by far my favorite game. Tried the others, Battlefield, etc, just not as good.

Well it's Modern Warfare remastered i've been playing these past few months and yeah it's still as enjoyable to play and doesn't piss you off anything like the new ones.

They really need to go back to that and quit the futuristic BS...

That is what I like about it though. Camping seems to be impossible.

Although, I started playing Modern Warfare again just yesterday. Now that I am getting a feel for the maps, I am starting to play it more.

Been playing the new Quake closed beta, reminds me of the good ole UT Quake 3 days.

One of the best single player experience I have, still wan't to play it again.

I've been an avid COD gamer since 2008. By avid I mean top50 for about 6 years on the leaderboards.

Saying that, I haven't really played the past 2 games released because they got away from the core of the game and added in all this Halo shit... super jumps, wall walking etc... They should have just created a new brand if they wanted to do that futuristic shit.

That being said, SUPER excited to see them going back to the roots with Call of Duty: WWII
