Is the ease of making multiple google acounts without phone verification a honeytrap of sorts?

Whenever I have got a google account using my legit details, they have always been anal as fuck about INSISTING that I verify via phone...

With a simple 'trick' you can make as many as you like without ANY phone verification. Its so simple and all over the web (on google search results itself) that it makes me wonder if its some kinda honeytrap of sorts with some ulterior motive by google?

What are your thoughts? Why be so anal about telephone verification to the point of limiting another account being made on the same number, when you can create as many as you like as simple as taking a shit?

Something just doesn't seem right, but I'm not sure what...

I dont use ICPOO but nothing NEEDS to be verified - Thats the point...

Its as close to 100% anonymous as your gonna get (Compared to real details and a real phone number being linked to the account)

You're aware that big tech has a valuable "profile" for each real person they can verify right? Your profile is like your tech credit report.

They share this profile with partners so you are NOT honeytrapped and considered possibly invalid upon signing up using an unverified Google, FB, etc. account.

When you're verified less stuff is monitored, you are trusted more quickly, your online actions have higher meaning, etc. I'm condensing this but hear what I'm saying if it matters for what you want to accomplish.

If you're unverified doing things of value, they'll force you to verify in the future, but in some rare cases having you unverified suits their purpose (i.e. uploaders)

Interesting point of view. Sounds logical

Claiming phantom members makes Gmail look good to GOOG investors.
Gmail is a marketing data mine.
