His wanting back into the political discussion is purely financially based that will help him both sell him more books and up his speaking engagement earnings. Neither of which are traitorous actions because these are welcomed things within a capitalistic society after a leader has left office. For example George W. Bush and his latest stint on the talk show circuit with his art work. Nobody wants to know about his art, they want to hear about his political views and his perspective because it is interesting from these points of views.
