Trump?s threat of a future government shutdown drew swift condemnation, including from some Republicans.

?I don?t ever want to see a government shutdown again,? said House Appropriations Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen, a New Jersey Republican. ?It?s a bad thing for the nation.?

The electorate ?voted for us to govern,? John Cornyn, the Senate?s second-ranking Republican leader said in a speech on the chamber?s floor. ?Sometimes people just give up which is what shutting down the government is, it?s giving up.?

?Threatening to shut down the government, on the heels of a successful, bipartisan agreement, is a sour and shameful note to kick off negotiations for? for a fall spending deal, said Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, the top-ranking Democrat on the Senate Appropriations Committee. ?Governing by tweet and manufacturing a crisis before our work even begins is no way to lead.?
The Republican party won't change the rules because they know what goes around comes around -- especially in politics.

Congress chumped the Trump -- Maybe he thought he was running for CEO of America?

Trump claims to be this great negotiator but the reality of it is he has no clue of how politics works. With politics you don't negotiate with one person or one business that desperately WANTS to do business with you. Instead you negotiate with Congress - half whom want to shoot down anything you want to accomplish, and out of the other half only a percentage of which want to work with you.

He's been in office one hundred days and accomplished nothing. Not one damn thing.

No man is an island -- especially the POTUS.
Get a fucking clue already ...

The Republican party gerrymanders to suppress popular vote, suppresses minority voters, stole a supreme court justice & support people on the terrorist watchlist purchasing firearms. The GOP is desperate, the tide of America has been turning against them for years, they cheat to win and prop up quacks like Trump out of desperation.

He scared a significant number of people from other countries enough to significantly cut down on the number of illegals trying to sneak in.
