where do you keep your bitcoin wallet recovery word list?

Multibit no longer seems to let you export your wallet. You are give a series of words to recover you wallet. where do you keep your bitcoin wallet recovery word list?


I wrote mine down on a piece of paper.

I printed mine out and it's on a piece of paper in my drawer. It probably should go in a safe. Ideally one that is fireproof.

I don't use Multibit anymore after having multiple instances of the balance not showing / failing to sync with the blockchain. I am using electrum now.

In a draft email in gmail. My gmail password is about 25 random characters, signs and numbers long, so should be pretty safe.

There have been a few. pussycoin and wankcoin IIRC... But AFAIK, they didnt gain traction

Armory let's you break it up even further so you can store a single recovery key across multiple locations. That's what I use, alongside a printer.
