After a Missouri woman had been using Johnson & Johnson baby powder on her lower regions, finding she had ovarian cancer, blamed the company for her cancer. In court, she´s been awarded 85million!

Misleading news headline. The court awarded her the money, which will be appealed by the Johnson and Johnson. While they can afford a single payout of 85 million, this case would set precedent, and tens of thousands of new lawsuits against them would surface within a year or two.

Nonetheless I wish her success in collecting anything substantial from the court decision.

She will never get a penny.

Not sure it's the same case, but baby powder aka talcum powder, is believed to cause cancer.

J&J is a top seller of products which contain talcum powder.

You can laugh as much as you want, but people have been dusting themselves, and children's bottoms forever with that stuff.

Some guy died a while back using it because he practically bathed in it. Blocked all his pores.
