Serious Debit Card / Credit Card Question - UK / EU
This might sound dumb but I tend to give my debit card details out several times a day and it got me thinking.
Say I wanted to book a hotel, not online but over the phone. They ask a few simple questions. 16 digit card # Expiry date Name on Card Postcode and House Number 3 Digit security code. I give these no problem. Where is the secuity if I was giving these details to a thief? This person could write down by info or that of 100's of other people they deal with every day and use the info to buy stuff on and offline. Not sure why you don't see more fraud like this. |
Fraud like this does exist. ;-)
And its massive. Your credit card company protects you, the consumer. They go after the thief, when they can. |

thatīs why you have chargeback, itīs insurance against the user using the card with fraud. Donīt forget, they will be caught using the card if itīs for an online purchase, whether, where the product was sent or the users home address details would be stored. You couldnīt purchase anything in a shop or holding without the actual card, itīs only the online purchase :2 cents: |

Don't do it. I'm serious. You will fuck up your entire life. Leave this to the professionals :2 cents: |
