Fascists in Hollywood cancel popular conservative sitcom Last Man Standing
The sitcom was a threat to libtardism. And after Tim Allen made the rounds sticking up for his conservative beliefs, he has been fired.
This is what real fascism looks like. Thank God we at least have a Republican government.... for now. |
^^^Is what retardation looks like^^^^^^^
One of Fox's stations can pick it up if it means that much to the conservatives. But they won't, it's easier and cheaper to fan the flames than to put their money were their mouth is The show is old and the costs are increasing, plus ABC doesn't own the show! |
Yes, they also canceled another conservative show - Two broke girls. Damn Nazis.

Oh another anonymous fake nic hates America & Hollywood imagine that :winkwink:
WeHatePorn & Matt 26z post the same alt-right anti American propaganda and also create threads that try to divide American society on topics like race, sexuality, etc. |

You mean the convicted, coke dealing felon Tim Allan is a conservative idol? Seems appropriate.

Tim Allen wasn't fired as the headline says. The show was canceled. "Last Man Standing" aired on ABC, but they did not own the show. Instead, ABC licensed each episode from 20th Century Fox, meaning ABC pays 20th for every episode. ABC pays the fee, airs the show, charges for ads, and keeps the profits. ABC is owned by Disney, and Disney has become very relaxed in the last 10 years. Sure they have shows that dig at Trump (Kimmel, Agents of Shield) but most of the shows do not. Last Man Standing was a popular show, but personally I didn't find it very funny (It was middle of the road cutsey at best). I tried watching it a few times and its just boring. Watching Tim Allen do his tool-time schtick is boring too, and the rest of the cast is dull in my opinion. The show itself is old (5 years now). It's geared towards an older, aging audience. ABC already has alot of popular shows. It's entirely possible that they just working making enough ad revenue for the time slot. To say it was canceled because Allen loves Trump would be COOL (woohoo!) but probably not accurate. Since ABC has to license every airing from 20th Century Fox, its entirely possible that there were other reasons for the canning of this (yawn) show. |

There are likely more than one reason why this show was canceled. In no particular order:
- The show was likely expensive to make. It was in its 6th season and Tim Allen is a big name so he likely got paid a lot. Successful shows get more and more expensive to make as they go on. Let's not forget Friends was a Top 3 show that got over 20 million viewers every season and even saw a boost in viewers it's last few seasons, but it cost so much to make it just wasn't profitable enough to keep around. - The ratings weren't as good as they appear. Yes, it was the #2 rated comedy on that channel, but it had an older, less desirable audience. The ratings for ages 18-49 were not that good and taken as a whole the ratings for the show were pretty mediocre. - American Idol is coming back and will air on ABC. They might have kicked this show to the curb for one that will likely get better ratings with younger viewers and may cost less to produce. - The show has already passed the 100 episode mark so it can go into syndication. Having another season or two won't add a lot to the bottom line. - Bob Iger, the head of Disney, is Jewish and he may not have appreciated when Tim Allen went on Jimmy Kimmel and said: "Being a Republican in Hollywood is like like living in 30's Germany." Was the show canceled because he is conservative? Maybe it played a part, but there were likely many other factors. To me, it is pretty simple. The show was likely on the bubble as far as being renewed and kept around then Allen compared being a multi-millionaire with a TV show to being a Jew in Nazi Germany. The studio likely wasn't too happy about that and was not looking to do the show or its star any favors. |

That said, I would have kept the show and its solid numbers and found a good ABC owned show to put after it. Hard to get consistent numbers for Friday shows, and that show did it. |

I think this was just one of those shows that was on the bubble and might have been canceled anyway then Tim Allen said the stupid thing he did and that didn't win him or the show any fans in Hollywood. |
