White Supremacist, Devon Arthurs, Converts To Islam, Kills Neo-Nazi Buddies For Disrespecting His Faith
Tampa, FL ? Devon Arthurs, 18, was arrested along with his neo-nazi buddy after a bizarre spree of violence.
On Friday, Devon Arthurs entered a smoke shop at 15325 Amberly Drive at around 5:30 PM, according to Tampa Bay Times. Arthurs pulled a pistol from his waistband and yelled at the female employee, ?Do me a favor and get the f? on the ground!?
He then asked the male customer, ?Why shouldn?t I kill you??
Another customer entered the store and he held that customer at gunpoint as well while exclaiming that he had already killed someone.
Two officers arrived a few minutes later, and were able to talk Arthurs into surrendering. After he was arrested, Arthurs made reference to ?Allah Mohammed.?
?I had to do it,? he said, according to the report. ?This wouldn?t have had to happen if your country didn?t bomb my country.? Arthurs is an American citizen.
When he was asked if anybody was hurt, Arthurs replied, ?The people in the apartment, but they aren?t hurt, they?re dead.?
Devon Arthurs then direct the officers to his apartment where they found his roommate, Brandon Russell, 21, sitting outside crying. When they entered the apartment they found his other roommates, Jeremy Himmelman, 22, and Andrew Oneschuk, 18, shot in the head and upper-body.
Arthurs detailed the shootings to the officers and told them ?he had been privy to neo-Nazi internet sites threatening to kill people, and he had developed a thinking that he should take some of the neo-Nazis with him,? because he was upset at the world?s anti-Muslim sentiment.
Brandon Russell, an admitted neo-nazi who was in the national guard, was arrested for explosives found in the apartment. In his bedroom, he had a framed photo of Timothy McVeigh. He admitted to manufacturing the explosive HMTD, but claimed that he only planned to use it to launch weather balloons.
?Arthurs stated that for some time before the murders, he had been privy to Russell participating in online neo-Nazi internet chat rooms where he threatened to kill people and bomb infrastructure,? the report said. The FBI arrested Russell on Sunday for possessing an unregistered destructive device and unlawful storage of explosive material.
Arthurs was booked on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and three counts of armed kidnapping.
