Philippines Under Martial Law
Have you guys heard the news from the Philippines? The president has put 20 million people in the southern regions under martial law for 60 days, perhaps up to a year. The reason? IS or Islamic State.
IS have taken over large areas and even manages to plunge the city into darkness by taking out the power. The president then approached Putin to ask for weapons to fight IS. He said that they were going to get weapons from the USA but the country was unstable right now so were getting them from Russia instead, lol. Quote:

this guy killed democrathy at the philippines in a few month and killed already thousands of people there. what do you think follows on that? the people suffer and when they are suffering is every solution right. violence raises oppositeness. and with a admirer like trump the whole thing will be a part of the bigger problem. i do not see the islam as the big problem - i think education is the big problem because with education less and less people need religion to understand and manage their lifes. at the end you can not make people guilty for their education - they donīt know it better and THIS is what have to be changed. |
He is a truly great leader, but the Western powers aren't happy about that, hence why they've sent ISIS in to make trouble and destabilize. Hopefully Putin helps out

Why is it so hard for you people to blame Islam? Why do you side with them? . |

what other answer you expect than force from them if you try to handel that with force? in the US-history there are so many examples for that that you guys thought you can stop all that with weapons - where did you resolve ONE problem with that ? i think guys like you had their time to show us all that it will not work. |
Rodrigo Duterte knows how to handle things...
These muslim assholes were protesting the US embassy. They got what they deserved. |
Russia can help them. LOL.

Duterte Says 'Spare No One' as Islamic State Beheads Police Chief, Stages Mass Prison Break
?Checkpoints will be allowed. Searches will be allowed. Arrest without a warrant will be allowed in Mindanao,? Duterte explained. ?And I do not need to secure any search warrant or a warrant of arrest. If you are identified positively on the other side, you can be arrested and detained.? ?Anyone caught possessing a gun and confronting us with violence, my orders are shoot to kill. I will not hesitate to do it,? he vowed. ?If I think that you should die, you will die. If you fight us, you will die. If there is an open defiance, you will die.? ?Anyone now holding a gun, confronting government with violence, my orders are spare no one, let us solve the problems of Mindanao once and for all. Do not force my hands into it,? he added. Duterte added that he was mulling an order to allow civilians to use their legally purchased guns against Maute terrorists and carry them publicly to deter violence. |
This guy is like Donald Trump without libtards to get in the way.

Where you from sir? It looks like you speak to the general knowledge and experience of the Filipino people. Been here for months when Duterte elected as the president. It looks like what you know is based on what you read and watch over the television. There is a lot of killings I confirm that but I can't even say that this is state sponsor killings. Democracy is still alive, functioning well. Switch to other news and reliable one.

Why can't you admit that 99% of the violence in those countries is being caused by Islamists? . |
Law and order has been an illusion in the Philippines for the past 30 years.
That changed during the election last May. Those who stand to lose a lot with changes to the system are the most vocal critics of Duterte. There's no such thing as a perfect leader. Still, there's a reason why Filipinos continue to place their trust in Duterte. As an American, I'd rather believe in the views of Filipinos on the ground rather than New York Times writers writing from their air conditioned cubicles in glass towers in New York about events taking place on the other side of the planet. |
That's true.
He is sorry for his bad-mouthing but that doesn't represent his actions at all. He knows his role, doing his part as a president. Quote:

Any foreigner who openly speaks of travels to the Mindanao region of Philippines will be warned. It's VERY common knowledge there, that travels to the south, especially to places outside of major cities to be dangerous.
Duterte, I can't say I like him or agree with his tactics, BUT, if you go to Philippines before the election or now, post election, I would say 95% of the people I've talked to support their president!!! With numbers like that, I say fuckit, let them deal with their problems anyway their elected government seems fit. |
The shit that people will make up. Even the little tiny bits of true info is twisted like crazy!
Duterte has been talking to China and Russia about acquiring military weapons since the Obama administration, It just so happened that during a trip to meet with Putin all this happened and so Duterte cut his trip short. Russia then offered help. Since Duterte took office the country has dramatically changed for the better, he has a 75% approval rating by the people of the Philippines. Those drug dealers etc. that liberals cry about being killed... most either resisted arrest shooting at police or were killed by people within so they wouldn't be snitched out. Media loves to talk about the drug dealers and criminals who were killed but never mention all the innocents who are still alive because these people are gone. The south islands of the Philippines are Muslim area's it's been like that way before Duterte, and they started killing people who can not recite the Muslim prayer lining the highway with heads even the police chiefs, they took over cities, there are IS flags raised on the poles. this is why President Duterte rightfully invoked Martial Law, to save innocents. Sorry that doesn't fit your liberal agenda's people really talk to much without knowing facts! |

and no - my knowledge about the philippines is not from the news - i have a few friends living there and they can tell me if what i read is correct or fake. over 7000 are shot without judge from the police since duerte allowed to do so. is it not true that every policeman can shot someone and tell later he looked like a drug dealer ??? that have NOTHING to do with democracy. |

my point of view is the effectiveness of hate against a group of people just because a part of them are crazy. i really believe that the problem canīt be resolved with force because the answer will be backforce. islam terror is not an army - it is not a country and it is not even a similar culture. even if you think about a nuclear solution - where do you want to throw this momb? on new york and all other cities in the world to eliminate all of them? even if you do that they will be back and they will be stronger (same as chritians and jewish did before) to resolve that problems with hate and weapeons will lead only to an endless war and many million deads on every side. the only answer is education and respect and i do not mean to respect the terrorists. they shall go to hell and if i see pictures where they burned people alive i would be the first one who would applaude when the same things happen to this ones WHO DID IT !!!! the problem on this whole discussion is, that we expect they have the same mentality and the same thoughts just because they are believing in the same god. if we just use this common argument we make them ALL to our enemies and we are creating every day thousands of new terrorists. so force canīt be the solution! .[/QUOTE] |

I would like to think the way you do. That there is some solution to this that does not require violence. The thing is both sides have done horrible things to each other, which you could argue go back hundreds or even thousands of years. Even if we keep this to the scope of a few decades. There is likely no way to just stop the cycle without a significant event causing a catalyst which could serve to either wipe out one side or the other, or mend the rift. What could mend it? i mean we are talking about people who believe in Harry Potter stories so much they die for it. On both sides. Do they really deserve the right to decide what is best for all the rest of us, who do not need Star Wars type stories to know it is wrong to rape or kill? Where we are at now is a place where it is time to choose a side. Then after that side has won, declare war on that ideology and get rid of it as well. The best thing we could possibly do is bar any form of media in the war zone over there. Left to their own devices i am pretty sure the generals in charge could clean it up and quite possibly without wiping out everyone. They would do what is necessary to keep people in line. The Romans did a fine job for a long time. When they fell we get what we have now. I just do not understand how any rational thinking person so willingly sticks up for people who think that Lord of the Rings is real, and preys to Gandalf, or invisible sky people. They should be evaluated for mental deficiency. |

i also know that any kind of solution will take a long time. maybe not even our grandchildren will have resolved it. but to choose between a "long way" and "no way" is quite easy, isnīt it? education does not fall from the sky. I also donīt know if the possibility of worldwide communication is a curse or a blessing for mankind because it opens the doors for the truth and for the lies. everyone who say he have the solution in his hand is an idiot and proves himself as undereducated. even the smartest person in the world canīt tell you what is right - but for shure he can see what goes wrong. |

Duterte isnt perfect for sure.
The changes he wants have angered a lot of the ogligarchs and those who have been secretly in corrupt control of the country for decades. |
