(CNN)The FBI's criminal probe of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election is increasingly touching on the multiple roles of senior White House adviser Jared Kushner on both the Trump campaign and the Trump transition team.

Points of focus that pertain to Kushner include: the Trump campaign's 2016 data analytics operation; his relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn; and Kushner's own contacts with Russians, according to US officials briefed on the probe.
There is no indication Kushner is currently a target of the probe and there are no allegations he committed any wrongdoing.

It's not clear if the FBI plans to talk to Kushner, but investigators believe he would be able to help provide information to assist the probe.
When CNN contacted a Kushner spokesman on Tuesday, the spokesman said Kushner was unaware of the FBI's interest in him and hasn't been contacted. NBC News and the Washington Post reported Thursday on the FBI's interest in Kushner. Kushner's attorney said her client is willing to talk to the FBI if asked.
"Mr. Kushner previously volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about these meetings. He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry," said Jamie Gorelick, his attorney.
The FBI has collected data on computer bots, programs that perform repetitive functions like searches, allegedly linked to Russia that helped target and push negative information on Hillary Clinton and positive information on Donald Trump through Facebook and other social media, the officials say.

Basically anyone in Trump's orbit --- even the seemingly harmless rich kid who married his daughter -- is a piece of shit.

And how would the Washington Post have that info? The FBI didn't release it.

Yes, let's have an investigation into the leaks because, you know, that's what is important. The possibility of the top adviser to the President Of The United States working with a foreign government isn't important at all. WTF Robbie? You fully support Wikileaks but OMG a leak in the White House and we you are upset.

This isn't even a leak. The FBI is conducting an investigation. Jared is part of that investigation. It's not classified information. I would imagine it is pretty much common knowledge to anyone who works in the White House. In fact, anyone could have guessed this. No one is even surprised.

And yes, it was the Washington Post. It's not the first time the Washington Post has taken down a President because of "leaks".

I wasn't even talking about the coming prosecution of the leakers when/if they get caught.

In one post you called Assange a bad guy for "leaking" classified info that hurt Hillary.
And now you praise leakers who hurt Trump.

Which is it?

Anyway, news reporting isn't supposed to be "guessing" or using unnamed sources that have been dead wrong over and over (with no retractions from the Washington Post by the way).

It's supposed to be a reporter finding out the FACTS and verifying them. And then an editor going over the reporters findings and doing a second verification that they are 100% correct.

That obviously has not been the case with the media in their anti-Trump hysteria.

That was what I meant by my post. Hell...a lot of the recent "leaks" haven't been illegal at all. They turned out to just be made-up stories. So the "unnamed source" didn't break any laws on those. lol
