Two "real" Americans were killed by a right wing terrorist, when they attempted to defend two Muslim women on a train in Portland from a radical right wing nut.. These 2 heroes died standing up to hate from a right wing nut job after he stabbed them to death..

The attacker probably couldn't pass the background check to buy a handgun or get a police permit.
