We're mesquite grilling burgers & steaks having mash & gravy & salad and going to watch fireworks at Dana Point harbor, at a secret place on the hill, with our fellow patriots who love America over Putin. The GFY Redhat nics are gonna goto the military cemetery tomorrow night and bag up a truckload of flowers, candles & trinkets from the graves to resale on the streets Tuesday morning to save money for their Russian immigration paperwork 😉

Spunky 05-28-2017 09:19 PM

Nice T-bone primed and ready to go with corn and salad

RyuLion 05-29-2017 12:34 PM

It's not a holiday here but it is summer, I grill everyday. Filet steaks yesterday, chicken kabobs and sausages tonight, burgers tomorrow then not sure yet the rest of the week.

Why is the place secret? Are the good people of Dana Point afraid negroes might show up?

"The racial makeup of Dana Point was 28,701 (86.1%) White (76.4% Non-Hispanic White),[21] 294 (0.9%) African American"

SBJ 05-29-2017 01:39 PM

I grilled out yesterday for the race and today I went to my aunts cause my aunt and my mom are twins and have a b-day this week.. so we had fried and broiled chicken and lots of side with a DQ b-day cake afterward. Good times, now I'm doing some work.

I went through that phase for a few years and got over it, then when I moved to Australia my place was on the water and I had my own attached boat dock and lots of crabbing pots, my kid loved fishing off that dock, we had so much crab, and fish we caught, that I couldn't help but to start up again there. Now I only grill a few times a year.

What types of fireworks are legal?

The types of fireworks that are permissible for use in Arizona are cylindrical and cone fountains, illuminating torches, wheels, ground spinners, flitter sparklers and ground sparkling devices, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Smoke devices, sparklers, party poppers and snap caps are allowed all year.

What types of fireworks are illegal?

The types of fireworks not permissible for use in Arizona are basically anything that detonates up in the air: sky rockets, bottle rockets, firecrackers, re-loadable shell devices, Roman candles, aerials and single-tube devices with reports. The Phoenix Fire Department has created a chart showing which fireworks are legal and which are illegal.

When can I buy them?

For the summer, fireworks can be purchased from May 20 to July 6. In the winter, they can be purchased from Dec. 10 to Jan. 3.

I live in Gilbert so I am already here.

Just because you can buy them doesnt make them legal to use.

I just gave you a link that shows what is legal and what is not, yet you elected to ignore it.

So again...

The only allowed Permissible Consumer Fireworks are:

Ground and handheld sparkling devices
Cylindrical fountains
Cone fountains
Illuminating torches
Wheels
Ground spinners
Toy smoke devices
Wire sparklers or dipped sticks
Multiple tube ground and ground and handheld sparkling devices, cylindrical fountains, cone fountains and illuminating torches manufactured in accordance with section 3.3 of the APA 87-1.
Illegal Fireworks are as follows; anything that is designed or intended to rise into the air and explode or to detonate in the air or to fly above the ground including Firecrackers, bottle rockets, sky rockets, missile-type rockets, helicopters, aerial spinners, torpedoes, roman candles, mine devices, shell devices and aerial devices and aerial shell kites or re-loadable tubes. Any individual using illegal Fireworks at any time is subject to a civil penalty of one thousand dollars ($1,000).

Yes, I am BBQ'ing processed foods, you got me. Those canned meatballs come off the grill really tasty!

My wife and I cook 6 days of the week fresh, prepare all food ourselves and buy from the local butcher for our meat. I'm not shopping at big box stores that attempt to get the cheapest meats possible, I value what I put in my stomach.

You are really obsessed. What's it like nipping at our heels hoping to prove you're worthy? Save your time and go play in another sandbox, fake nic that didn't post for years and machically appeared after last year's election as an alt-right Trump fanboy. Get a life troll.

Sounds awesome man that's the way to do it 👍🏼☺️. You're right about the big box stores. I never buy meat there, always overpriced and not the best quality.

wtf is your deal?

I have never engaged in any political discussions on this board, nor do I have any desire to discuss politics here.

FYI.. I registered as a Democrat and have voted Democrat for the last 40 years so I am not quite sure where you get this "Trump fanboy" crap from.

Not everyone on this board is the boogeyman.

No sides, but I did grab a chocolate cupcake with raspberry filling. Turned out to be the best home made steak I've had yet. I use the Alton Brown method.

In the past, I would put the oil, salt, and pepper on the few days before hand and let it sit. This time I did not do that. That may be the key, not sure. Will do more testing.

of course I see them.. and again, from another article

"At least one wholesaler thinks some rules are over the top. Randy Herrman of Oshkosh, Wis.-based Hometown Fireworks, compared Arizona's fireworks rules to letting retailers sell chocolate bars and then telling customers they can't eat them.

"It's a silly law," he said. "The state says we can legally sell them. . . . But a large majority of cities have banned these items. They're putting the general public in a bad situation."

Phoenix Vice Mayor Michael Nowakowski said the city is getting calls from confused consumers who don't understand why they can buy fireworks in Phoenix but can't use them there. He said the city will have to develop a program for fireworks safety similar to the one instituted for pool safety."
