Anyone own a BMW X3 here?
If so, any good? Looking at a 07 model for my Son... Its the 2.0 litre Diesel model, not the 3.0 sports model... Price is good, car seems good, milage is good etc... But any personal horror stories etc?

We have a 2016 X3. No issues but it's a lease and full maintenance is included.
Watch out for high maintenance and repair bills on older model BMW's. |

They drive like shit tho... that means... not like an suv... more like bumpy sportscar than a cruisecar... that means... the 07 models... Not the latest X3 models |
Cool thanks. Not to bothered about the ride, cause he doesnt know what a proper SUV feels like anyway :upsidedow
He will just be glad to be able to fit a double buggy in the boot without having to dismantle it :thumbsup |

I have get some rental over the years tried x3 not my cup of tea and im a big guy so the X6 have always been my favorite SUV size wise.
Hate driving with having my shoulder touching the passenger lol. X3 very compact but it's a fun ride a for a sunday after noon in the country. |

No SUVs. Sedans only.

My last BMW was an 04 325i. It broke down like twice a month to a point where I couldn't afford repairs anymore..
I traded it for an 07 Mercedes and in the past 2 years I have had 0 problems at all. :upsidedow |
Not a fan of the X3, but the real question is how many miles are on it? over 70k and you are looking at potential expensive upkeep fairly soon.
