I have question on tgp buttons (recip links)

How come I never see any recip links as flash buttons on galleries?

they load fast on 56k...

dont most all browsers support flash now?

I just think they are much more attractive and it would entice the surfer to click...

So why dont tgp's have flash recip buttons??

How do you find out the byte size of a Flash button? I'd like to compare.

Flash buttons can be huge or small in size. It just depends on how the designer creates it.

If they throw in a bunch of jpegs and start moving them around then the filesize will be big.

Here's one I did. It's about 9.5kb.

I don't allow any flash on galleries submitted to my sites. Basically, if the page pops an Active X warning, they get declined.

Why am I going to gamble on wether the Active X is just a really nice Flash banner/button/effect, or a scumbag looking to fuck up my browser settings/edit my windows registry? I like my homepage set to 'blank' just fine, I don't need some fucked up search engine loading in.

Well they can be big, and certain scumbags, use them to re-direct a gallery. Most TGPS don't accept them for the above mentioned reasons.

Why do you want to use Flash for a recip button, I don't get it
