Portable USB Charger

I need a portable USB charger. I know I can buy a wall plug with USB charger ports, but I'm looking for a no-plugin charger. I know I'll need to recharge it. I'm limited on outlets right now so portable is best.

I'm confused on mAH. Theoretically, how long does 5,000 mAH take to charge a small device versus 24,000 mAH?

No difference in time. The 24,000 stores about 5x the energy so you'll be able to charge devices more times.

Ah, I see, thank you. So the more mAH, the less I'll have to recharge the charger? Offf to find one!

Yup, you got it! They are great to have. But if you're really just using it in the house, you can get powerbars with build in usb charge ports that might fill the need better.

Found one at Walmart

https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Port...ds=power+stick

Scroll down to the product comparison and look at the charging times.

The answer is that it depends both on the wall charger's output and the power stick's storage amperage. Generally speaking: the more storage the longer the charging time (to capacity)

most phone batteries are 3000-3500 so get a 10000 one and you will be able to charge your phone a few times before having to recharge it.

ohh, time to charge the small device? The power stick's output is what matters. I have an older one has 1 Amp and 2 Amp outputs -- so it depends on the power stick's output. Some newer device batteries can take a 5 Amp charge. I am looking at a small one I bought for a back up for my phone it is 5Amps out and it worked fine on a 2 year old LG phone.

I would just get a powerbar with the USB port built in. Give yourself extra plugins, and still charge your phone. The portable power banks are good if you travel or are on the go a lot, and really are hard on your phone.
