That banner, damn. So many times I dont even realize my mouse went over it... usually between backing out of a page, or clicking a link....then I hear that 'click me now'. Thats a good idea. Intentional or not, nevertheless... Have some audio banners positioned in areas where a mouse pointer will most likely be at between clicking links and other page transitions... Nice way to draw attention..no? Or do you find it annoying?

Not sure if its annoying or not but it does scare the crap out of you when your not expecting heh.

well from a marketing/end-user perspective, I think audio banners work, no matter how annoying. If the speakers are way up, great - the whole house will hear =more exposure...lololol

It doesn't scare me, I keep my speaker volume down low.

I keep mousin' over it just to hear that sexy ass voice.. :)

I think it would only work on a board like this.

joe blow surfs and finds stashi website, likes the content. Mouses over a banner that screams words through his PC and it wakes up his wife that is 10 feet away sleeping.

Joe quickly shuts the PC and goes to bed thinking "note to self ... dont EVER click on Stashi website again!" or even worst "maybe i should stop surfing porn at night?"
