VERY heart warming story with Mari Blue from XBIZ.. MUST READ
 

So most of you know me long time. And Im sure a lot of you know Mari Blue, event photographer. Well heres a story of TRUE comraddary. We were both working the biz event in south beach. We were at the Vercacce Mansion ( can't spell for shit ) getting ready to shoot the awards part. It was very hot as we were doing red carpet and even hotter in that god forsaken cattle coral waiting an hour to get in. Well as we got in I started taking pics of the people coming in. As I backed towards the stage I was gonna set one of my cameras down, but as I stepped back , I stepped backwards into the pool, a small area uncovered and un marked next to ramp to stage. Well it was bad.. ALL my gear went under water , I hit my head , broke my thumb. Next thing I know Mari dropped everything she was being paid to do to come to my aid. She made sure I was ok and then spent next 15 min gathering my gear, trying to dry it and did whatever she could to help me in a difficult spot. Not only did she help me with that but she shared footage with me to help me finish my end of the project. True friendship between 2 people working in the same line of biz. Ill never forget that. If anyone ever sees her they should pat her on the back and buy her a drink. I know I always will.

Nice to hear about someone with a warm heart...defiantly not someone from Miami. By the way I walked into the Verscacce store in South Beach and dropped a massive skinky fart next to the snobby sales lady and then walked out. True story

Speak of the devil.... While we are discussing positive things about photographers... Years ago (YEARS ago) JFK got on the phone with me and helped me get my first real camera. And then six months later while I was at an event shooting the show JFK loaned me a memory card, no questions asked. This was back in the day when these cards cost hundreds of dollars.....
