Need ideas for my printing business
 

What had happened was, I didn't have a printer since, what ... 1998 .. it was a Deskjet 540 and I hated printers SO MUCH that I literally did not own one for say TWENTY YEARS. Well then I got the bright idea after my businesses crashed into hell, and I was pretty burned out on shipping big items and handling huge merchandise anyway, what the fuck now that I was feeling better and not as sick I'll start a printing business.

Well anyway I've been dicking around fucking around for several months and I had gotten a hold of some old skool wide format printers and by now I can take them apart and fuck all around with them and I actually can make printers work and do things now

But I'm starting out on a shoestring of garbage and I need bright ideas
I couldn't get a long with ebay and will probably have to walk away from that and say fuck it before it wastes any more of my patience as they just don't have traffic these days ESPECIALLY for small/new accounts
(You make money on prints/decals, as far as I can tell, the only way you do this by having a MASSIVE number of listings up at all times always which I can't do thanks to them, unfortunately.. I'm very good at using listing X and shit like that but they simply won't allow me to do much of shit at all )

Some of the decals I made sold but I don't really own any images or anything - some stuff is public domain so you can do what you want, as is most US GOV stuff as I understand it but there's just no traffic on ebay for prints or decals. Meanwhile I was selling spanking cartoon prints but then I pissed off one of the people who draws those and couldn't sell those any more. Which sucked since they seemed to sell.

I don't have a hard limit on the biz / ind categories but those listings are DEAD AS FUCK and I STILL have a tiny listing limit for normal ron listings

So some shit I was thinking about was approaching local schools and businesses, maybe making some sales via facepage groups, some shit like that ..... I don't know . . you know? But I like printing and I am going to be in the printing business SOME WAY and I would appreciate any bright ideas since you all failed to identify the ass I posted the other day.
Shit I can make is still pretty basic in terms of the bumper stickers and decals since I'm starting over on a God forsaken shoe string of fuck all, but, what I CAN make is pretty good and I'm printing extremely close to lab quality on the photographs by now.

GFY has NEVER let me down in terms of identifying a female ass and I was shocked by that so this is basically a way GFY could redeem itself, you know, by putting some big ideas together (coherent ones). If you manage to be the one who thinks of something that actually works out in reality I'll slide you a pile of cash and a piece of the money since I'm good like that due to being OLD SKOOL AS FUCK

I have a few cool decals in my business.
One is a cartoon batman one. One is a window with a rainbow. The other is huge one with various coffee names. I have some writing, quotes and stuff and also some stickers which were advertised as decals but they are not. They are stickers and they suck cos they peel.

Anyway, I like the idea of going to businesses. Perhaps aim for new businesses, those just setting out as they usually are happier to splash cash for a new look.
Also, have the decals in a folder of some sorts with prices or a tablet.

If you can hang the decals for the customer too that would prob be a bonus.

Overthinking isn't going to make you successful on the first place ...

Some categories don't count against your limits. Focus on those. :thumbsup My account is 15+ years old and only a $25k limit but I have well into 6 figures listed at the moment. Why sell prints for a few dollars when you can sell refurbed wide format printers for much more? You can't make money on ebay with nickel and dime items. Think bigger.

If you really want to get into printing, do signs and advertising for local businesses in your area. Knock on some doors with mockups for their business ready to go and start a conversation with them.

Reading the description - wouldn't it make more sense to sell these signed? Like a chick herself would sell them, it should go for more :) Of course I am sure this is being done, but why the fuck would anybody buy a print of some chick without that personal connection?

Yeah biz / ind has no hard limit. There's a soft limit, though, but a high one. Problem is AB testing kept showing me that I can get traffic to listings ANYWHERE BUT biz / ind for some reason

You CAN make money a few dollars at a time if you do VOLUME. Look at imagesfromhistory and some of those other motherfuckers they're making MONEY is what they're doing - you probably could as well since you seem pretty coherent.

Selling prints is awesome for several reasons I won't even give away here but suffice it to say there's

0 inventory even when you have tens of thousands of items
0 work involved if you think of what I'm not going to discuss

currently you appear to be selling mostly kids clothes and school/office paraphernalia

the username 'choas under control' does NOT work with that, honestly were I an online/ebay shopper in the market for what you sell just based on the name alone I would have less trust in your ability to deliver. it's very good charlotte

The reason I have been selling horrible garbage like these God forsaken planners and jeans is it's all I really had so it's on there is why (I am completely out of ALL types of computer equipment and ram 100%)

I tried computer recyclers and all kinds of morons and couldn't find much

I think that the reason I cannot find them used is because everyone cannibalizes the printheads for DTG printing is what happens OR they sell them and discard the printer itself

My ebay account isn't working out so until I have a way of selling the prints I probably won't be very useful - but thanks!!
