someone is stealing my bandwidth.
 

how do I find out if someone is using my tgp images for there own tgp pages and hot-linking to my images. This is the only thing I can think of. My bandwidth has doulbed to 400 gigs for half a month for my tpg galleries with no increase in revenue or raw visitors??

The counter system I am using for my tgp pages have not increase so they are not using my whole page just the images.

Also, I want revenge!

look at your stats on your server

I use Rackshack.net for my servers. All they show is how much has been used but no details. I guess I will call them and find out if I can go deeper into the system.

Isn't rackshack unmanaged?

And to prevent hotlinkers all you need is a decent HTACCESS... but if you dont know about that.. I'm assuming you havent been patching your server and doing other normal security things.

i know i costed you some more money,but I don't like paying for bandwidth,i'll stop hotlinking first thing at the end of the month.

if you use rackshack then you should have webalizer installed goto rackshacks support chat and ask them how to access it..

well when I was doing 500k a day it sucked cause the box i had didnt even have a 1gig cpu now since I got a new server more ram better cpu KNOCK ON WOOD no down time

but I don't use them for my paysites I have 4 servers one with tlchosting one with rackshack, one with simplecom and another one with aeonline I learned never put ya eggs in one basket hehe

well so far I have tried to install MRTG from http://www.easyservermanagement.com/howto/mrtg.html but my system can not find the files after entering ( wget ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7....17-3.i386.rpm ).

I also looked at Webalizer but have not found a good tutorial (step by step) installation for this. I do have access SSH through Putty to handle my server. With good instruction I think I could actually get this working.

Install Analog stats on your server. Why MRTG? You want to find out who is hotlinking you, not how much in/out bandiwidth you are doing.

Are you on a Plesk/Ensim or bare redhat server?
