It is not Sessions? job to protect the president or his private conversations, especially since Trump had not invoked executive privilege. It is his job to protect the Constitution and our democracy by being independent of executive influence or intimidation. That Sessions, by his own admission, has not been briefed and has displayed little interest in what the Russians did during the 2016 president campaign is proof that he?s just a rubber stamp for Trump. He is woefully unqualified to be attorney general and should resign immediately.

This is why someone like Trump is a danger to democracy, because he has filled his govt with yes men, who value keeping him happy more importantly than protecting the rules and laws of the US Constitution.

I wouldn't expect any less. Chump isn't an alpha male, but a bully who has to surround himself with pussies lower on the ladder than him. His ego needs that ass kissing and reassurance

From Sessions testimony it's clear he has a lot to hide, thankfully getting to the bottom of this has now become a non pertisan mission for congress and things are moving fairly quickly, though we still have a long way to go.

They serve at the pleasure of the President, but they do not serve to protect the President. The FBI and Justice Department is required to investigate crimes, even if they include the President.
