"1,000 likes or I drop him": Man who dangled baby from 15th floor on Facebook jailed for 2 years
An man was sentenced to two years in prison after he posted a photo on Facebook of him dangling a baby from a high-rise window and threatening to drop him, the BBC reports.
The man held the child outside of the 15th floor while a relative snapped the photo. He then posted the image to Facebook with the caption, ?1,000 likes or I will drop him.? The man was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The man told authorities the child was never in any danger, insisting there was a protective barrier in place and the image had been altered. The man?s father also testified it was ?just a game,? but the judge still sentenced him to prison. |
