Smartphone Camera WTFs.

Well, we're all sick of vertically oriented video, but it's definitely convenient to record a video on when walking, when riding a bicycle and at any situation where only one hand operation is possible.

Tell me.

WHY THE FUCK.

Samsung / Iphone, or whoever.

Can NOT make a flip/flop camera - you keep the phone vertically but beach is filming
horizontally.

I have just registered a patent on that matter.

but some videos needs to be shot vertially.

True. So, all I need is a software based button to change orientation ( if possible ) or a hardware button to change lenses orientation at any position.

Btw, just found something on that matter, may be they have Android one too.

Vertically Oriented, Portrait, my ass. Easier now?

many people do hold the camera vertical and yes, this is a right piss off to watch, especially when on a laptop of tv screen, huge amount of black wasted space...

but itīs easy to hold the phone horizontal and film it like this, why do people not do this?

I was riding a bicycle today, it's not actually easy to record a video holding a phone horizontally :))

I'm always on my PC so don't have that problem. :)
Look into the settings to see if you can change that or get a app..

Vertical videos work fine when viewed on mobile. The problem is YouTube's display format of vertical videos on desktop. The videos are much too small.

celandina 06-27-2017 08:47 AM

Fuck it, its a loosing battle. So, just adjust like him
