Anyone crypto trading? I doubled my portfolio in 5 weeks lol

I am not posting lately at all since I am now 99% mainstream focused, but wanted to check back here if anyone is trading crypto currencies?

I started recently with some knowledge I gained over the years in forex and I can say there is TONS of room for growth since market is currently at "just" 102 billion and it is growing like mad! So "young" if we can call it "industry" has so big earning opportunities it is simply incredible.

So, do you trade crypto? How are your experiences so far? Earning good?

Klen 06-28-2017 07:55 AM

Not yet, but i'l plan to do it in future. There is still some drops to squeeze from adult :D

Yeah, just tweak and work on your researches, also buy when market is re-testing like it was yesterday for example. There is tons of room to grow just buy solid coins with good idea behind them!

read this, will give you basic idea how it works and why it is actually FUTURE, what internet made for information blockchain is doing for finance.

Everyone of course has right for its own opinion so I respect yours, but I suspect you did some good research on subject before stating "it is pyramid ponzi" (after all blockchain/bitcoin was invented to fight pyramid scheme banks do to us).

Do some research, feel free to thank me in close future ;) If not, completely up to you, your time, your money :)

I spread my portfolio currently between 10+ coins, I also day trade using some knowledge I gained from forex. I split some investments as short term, some mid term and some long term, it is full time job :)

bitcoins and all these other coins are like pokemon cards. fun to trade but worth nothing in the real world. oh sure, you can cash out and get real money but with the way they fluctuate people would be fools to try and use it to buy and sell things. and if the price stabilizes it becomes no more profitable than currency trading.

fris 06-29-2017 04:41 AM

should have bought btc a few days ago went down to 2300, now back at 2500

Here are just some of the places:
What can you buy with bitcoins?

It is like stating that Euro is worth nothing in USA because you cannot spend it directly. Bitcoin is daily hitting new places where you can use it and entire idea is to change way how entire finance works so spending it is just tip of the iceberg on what is about to happen. Do some research, do not speak from what you heard from someone you know who heard it from aunt's friend Bobby.

You're an idiot to accuse everyone challenging you as uneducated.

Your approach is classic pump & dump.

The returns aren't there, that's why your nic is here pumping what you're peddling.

My approach is not pump & dump, I analyse news, follow trends and do very advanced chart analysis including numerous indicators.

I am not pumping anything here, I just ask people if they are trading since I see this as very good biz opportunity. It is subjective of course, so whoever likes to trade he should do it or if someone does not like to trade/hold altcoins he should not do it, as I said completely subjective.

Regarding calling me an idiot, you simply speak a lot about yourself and your mindset. I never said someone is not educated, I just shown my suspicion towards your reaction to this thread since calling entire blockchain technology PONZI is similar approach that people had towards cars when Henry Ford started making them.

Eventho you called me idiot I send you best wishes and kind regards.

Currently I am not yet ready to chat with multiple people since I am 24/7 looking into charts when I am not working on my regular job schedule. I hope in close future we can do something like this yes, who knows maybe I even start some free signals group so we can all profit from my analysing :)

Yeah for sure, and I doubt you have issues setting it up since I see you work for Choopa so you know a thing or two about HW / linux :)

Choopa Phil 06-29-2017 03:00 PM

I cannot loose all since I already pulled out my initial investment and I take some cash out each 2 weeks :)

anexsia 06-30-2017 07:55 AM

I started mining Ethereum with my Radeon RX480 8GB cards a couple of weeks ago and plan on holding onto my Ethereum coins :-) thinking about dual mining Sia (only have 500 of them from just mining them for a little bit).

ipolic 06-30-2017 07:58 AM

Sia is great coin with great usage, so make sure to mine it and HOLD it :)

I'm aware you can buy stuff with it but who would want to? I don't want to buy something with bitcoins that could be worth 10 bucks more in a day or two and as a seller why would I want to accept bitcoins when they could be worth 10 bucks less in a day or two? on a large scale, it just doesn't work as it is now. let me know when walmart takes bitcoin.

Is it worth mining alt coins? (I mean its the same as with btc in the beginning? Of course considering the price goes up)

You can make money off of any commodity volatility. I heard stories as a boy of guys who horded rubber tires and sold them at prices way above their worth during the Second World War. There was a scarcity of raw rubber, Japan had occupied the rubber producing countries in Asia. Neoprene (synthetic) rubber was not invented yet.

But rubber tires did have utility -- they were a useful commodity in trade.

Digital currency is 'air' it has little if any utility. If you can make money off of speculation -- that's fine --but don't cry if you get burned.
You either converted mining 'air' and electricity expended into a new form of air;or,
If you purchase digital 'currency' assets with hard asset national currency -- you are buying air with real cash -- keep that in mind.

Good luck to the winners ...

Tell that to the people in Venezuela. All they have is Bitcoin.

Klen 07-02-2017 01:47 AM

Few questions; 1. What is your average ROI on it ?
2. Which programs do you use to make it work ?

jscott 07-02-2017 07:35 AM

hey Barry, let me see you turn your monopoly money into something of value please

I personally turn my crypto into cash in hand anytime I want to, so your lil image there is quite off

you definitely seem to know a little bit about crypto, but only that, a little teeny tiny bit. If you value it as "air" then you are a lost man and uneducated. Millions of people put value on bitcoin, i'd advise you to learn the reason why that is, this could be your breakthru into realization :thumbsup

jscott 07-02-2017 07:37 AM

What driver version are you using for the cards? I have some OEM brown box sapphire nitro rx 470's. I did the 1500 strap and performance improved a bit, from 24.xxx to 25.xxx mh/s. I've tried adjusting the clock and memory using Trixx / Afterburner but the card(s) will crash. If I try very small increments there is no performance gain or a negative performance difference.

Are you still getting 30 mh/s with the updated EPOCH at 132? If I could get these cards to 28 mh/s I'd be happy. What brand card are you using?

Barry-xlovecam 07-02-2017 12:02 PM

@jscott I don't deal in unregistered securities for investment.

Bitcoin is not currency.

Bitcoin is air; you want to make air, buy air or sell air I really don't care.

If you make money it won't be off of me.

jscott 07-02-2017 12:51 PM

You waste your time in these discussions about this "fake air non currency"?

That is joy of digital era - you can earn tons of money by doing nothing "hardware". Even absurd industries, like HYIP which is nothing more but ponzi scheme is still working fine.
