Are you liberal or conservative?

With all the name-calling here, you'd think it's black and white. It's not - at least for me. I just took this quiz and found it pretty interesting. If you're into it, make sure to check out the "other stances" for more positions.

The quiz is here:. 2017 Political Quiz

My results are:

Interesting results. Right now my favored 2020 US President candidate would be the other NY billionaire, Mike Bloomberg.

I'd enjoy seeing other people's results!

I'm conservative on fiscal issues, as well as immigration and states rights. Smaller federal government. Way tighter restrictions on handouts such as welfare, food stamps. Much smaller defense budget. Liberal on social issues such as legalizing all drugs. Gay marriage, adoption, all rights. Personal freedom to do what you want, as long as you also own the consequences, and doesn't screw with other people.

Not all. Trump is a horrible president. I agree with some of the Republican policies, but Trump is just horrible.

I'm really bad at being rotten and selfish I guess.

I'm a mixture of both, depending on the issues.

Nice expose :)

By the way this quiz (unless it is updated) was posted by mark prince few months ago.
I got myself in the center somewhere (very slightly towards right).

Rochard stands for: He hates Trump. So he will believe ANYTHING that makes Trump look bad and will believe ANYBODY that says Trump is bad.

It's a blind hatred with no logic. :(

Paul Markham 06-28-2017 09:54 PM

The problem is affording liberal policies.

Lol is this a joke? Trump is no good no matter how you turn it, not to mention how he is crazy and he could launch nukes for no other reason but to have fun.

Freedom is a double edged sword. When your personal freedom comes at the expense of another's freedom it is really selfishness and greed. Many men are two-faced liars -- the Orange Messiah is a a good example of the worst aspects of this.

If this makes me a "commie liberal" I am in good company. This doesn't mean I don't value personal gain from a person's deeds and enterprise.

Actually, it says I am left leaning centrist, and most 'political themes' are defined as moderate or slightly, leaning strongly toward unilateralism;

Quote:

Advocates of U.S. unilateralism argue that other countries should not have "veto power" over matters of U.S. national security. Presidential Candidate John Kerry received heavy political heat after saying, during a presidential debate, that American national security actions must pass a "global test". This was interpreted by Kerry opponents as a proposal to submit U.S. foreign policy to approval by other countries. Proponents of U.S. unilateralism generally believe that a multilateral institution, such as the United Nations, is morally suspect because, they argue, it treats non-democratic, and even despotic, regimes as being as legitimate as democratic countries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unilateralism
I thought John Kerry was a Bozo. Hillary, his predecessor didn't do much better.

But this survey, however interesting, in regard to the political affiliations, is based on the candidates' pack of intentions, promises and outright lies (falsehoods and spin) made running for office -- the relevancy of that part is nil.

Really? How can you say that with a straight face? Liberal policies took care of your cancer without a big bill for you.
