Evidently Joe Scarborough has phone records and a paper trail of Trump's henchmen threatening him, and Trump tweeted that he wouldn't stop the story what an idiot.

Trump accidentally confesses to blackmail scheme against Morning Joe hosts

President Donald Trump on Friday fired back at the hosts of MSNBC?s Morning Joe program.

Specifically, the president responded to allegations that the White House asked co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to apologize personally to Trump for their negative coverage of him in exchange for him telling the National Enquirer to back off of a negative story planned about the couple.

?Watched low rated Morning Joe for first time in long time,? Trump said. ?FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show.?

Joe Scarborough quickly shot back at Trump on Twitter ? and claimed that he had a paper trail to back up his version of events.

?I have texts from your top aides and phone records,? he wrote. ?Also, those records show I haven?t spoken with you in many months. Why do you keep lying about things that are so easily disproven? What is wrong with you??

In a Washington Post editorial published Friday, Scarborough and Brzezinski revealed that the White House earlier this year contacted them about a purportedly scandalous story that would soon be published in the National Enquirer, whose boss David Pecker is a longtime Trump ally.

?This year, top White House staff members warned that the National Enquirer was planning to publish a negative article about us unless we begged the president to have the story spiked,? they revealed. ?We ignored their desperate pleas.?

Did we expect anything less from Trump? The President of the United States, the most powerful person in the world, is getting into a pissing match with some unknown reporter.

I had never heard of these people until yesterday.

I didn't think he'd outright confess to not stopping a story from running in a tabloid (the enquirer) that his good friend David Pecker owns. These people continually called the woman's 15 year old daughter on her cellphone, harrassing of a minor, blackmail. Creepy

The Donald and Joe are both referring to the second time the story was run, which was just recently. Trump said he said "no" which Joe says is a lie and claims to have the phone records to prove that Trump lied about the matter. There is not a confession involved here. Just another of Trumps lies assuming that Joe is not lying.

So Trump threatening the two last year via tweet: "Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika."

... And now saying "He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no!" is not Trump confessing in your mind.

Threatening to make something public, then saying you won't stop it from going public, is not a blackmail confession to you.

How ironic ...

Same basic thing -- isn't it?
Or does US law define shades of corruption.
Trump must think Orange Buffoons are somehow exempt?

Both are abusing their power. No wonder they were both licking each other's balls so much when he visited the U.S. and had that press conference.
