Don't fly your drone over a fire because you could go to jail
 

This guy probably didn't think he was doing anything wrong but the police say so.
He's been arrested for flying a drone over a fire that killed 19 firefighters.
He's being held on 14 counts of felony endangerment and one misdemeanor count of
unlawful operation of an unmanned aircraft.

14 felony counts because he was seen documenting the fire 3 hours after it started and for days later, posting pics the whole time. They think he started it, and like most pyromaniacs, wanted to watch his fire burn.

Flying a drone around low flying fire fighting planes is dangerous though :2 cents:

I didn't start the fire but if I had a drone and had been there I might have done the same thing.

Same here in Aus, drone starts buzzing the fires and they can't put the planes and helicopters up till its gone.

I hate fucking things and I probably own more "drone" domains than anyone hehe.

I was thinking of ordering up this drone, anyone know anything about them?

Yes good choice i have had the original FC40 for about 3 years and just ordered the Phantom 4-pro The original FC40 had poor video and image resolution but was so easy to fly. The new 4-pro has an updated camera with a 20m sensor, 4K video, obstacle avoidance, and tons of other cool stuff. best price i could find was $1499.00

The only other drone i would consider is the Typhoon by Yuneec, cheaper but only a 12m - 4K camera on sale at $999
