Injuries reported after vehicle strikes pedestrians in Boston
Sucks you have to watch your back all the time now while at events.
A vehicle struck a group of pedestrians in east Boston on Monday afternoon, Massachusetts State Police said on Twitter. Several pedestrians suffered injuries of varying degrees and ambulances are on the scene, Ana Zivvas, media relations manager at Boston Public Health Commission, told CNN. The incident occurred on Porter Street and Tomahawk Drive near the Logan International Airport taxi pool, police said. The area is just west of the airport. Something is not right here. |
I'm vaguely familiar with the area. They interrupted regular television to break the story. Tonight, on the news, they're pretty sure it was an accident. Said the high humidity had him confused.
Hopefully they'll have more information tomorrow. It's getting to the point where you have to be behind a fence or stone abutment to feel safe. |
