Cremation or Coffin?

Cremation or Coffin?

I prefer cremation. I think cremation is the best. I don't like the idea of being in the root of a tree.

Possible that your spirit could have a "spooky action at a distance". Type of Quantum Entanglement Where you feel the pain of your body in a parallel universe? I want cremation so all nerve endings are destroyed quickly.

people's eyes can open when you scream in their ear after being beheaded.

Cremation for me. I already take up 4 or 5 times the space that I should just being alive... No need to take up the spaces of 2 or 3 graves when I'm dead...

CurrentlySober 07-06-2017 12:42 AM

That said though, they will need to cut me into smaller pieces just to fit me in the cremation chamber... And prob have to have firemen on standby... Fats somewhat flammable I believe?

PaperstreetWinston 07-06-2017 01:02 AM

cremation, but only after I star in a necro flick

Look Chang 07-06-2017 03:32 AM

Cremation after a double check that I'm actually dead. :stoned

Cremation

CaptainHowdy 07-06-2017 08:46 AM

I have the feeling I will never die ...

Spunky 07-06-2017 10:55 AM

Rather be burned as the thought of the worms crawling through me disturbs me even though I'm dead

I want my body left above ground in a forest to be devoured by whatever needs the energy my body will provide... no joke

The cynic's (and a little bit sadean) approach to death. I dig it.

I have a probably stupid but valid question.

You know that when you are cremated and in a coffin. You go to the funeral home and after the readings the coffin goes behind a curtain.

What happens then?

Do they burn the coffin and body or do they remove the body, burn that and resell the coffin?

Cremation.

My father died when I was a nine months old; His body was recovered and brought back to the US and buried near my grandmothers house where I spent my summers as a teen. It was a very sad and depressing place for me.

I Cremation. I want my ashes spread off of the shore of Hawaii; They have ceremonies for that. Instead of going to a grave and being sad... I want my family to go on vacation and be happy.

I've had sunburn many times before so i'm happy to go ahead with cremation... :1orglaugh

Are you an organ donor?

Cremation, don't want any chance of waking up being buried alive.

Since people will never stop dying think a waste of a lot of real estate that will need to continue to grow to meet demand. Seems like a waste to me. Some people come visit ya for a while and then that eventually stops so your body is in the ground, nobody visits, your dead anyway so who gives a fuck, burn everybody, save some land, throw da ashes wherever ya wanna be. :2 cents:

cremation but according to various shaman tradition body need to be kept for three days before being cremated, otherwise spirit could have some troubles in shadowlands.

but.. as an old player of traditional paper and dice rpg games i think it's tempting to leave sexy, partially-toothless white bone skele to scare some random digger :1orglaugh

So you'd rather wake up burning alive?

Yeah the heat of the fire would wake ya up if you weren't dead or a rookie didn't drain your blood. If they throw ya in da ground and you're still alive and wake up your 6 feet under with nobody to hear your screams. :winkwink:

Desperate family smash into coffin after hearing 'dead' teenager screaming from INSIDE

Footage shows grieving family members breaking through the concrete tomb from where Neysi Perez, 16, had been heard "banging and screaming".

Relatives who removed the girl's corpse found that the glass viewing window on her coffin had been smashed, and the tips of her fingers were bruised.

Family members however were too late and the 16-year-old died for the second time despite efforts by desperate relatives to save her.

Medics found no signs of life after examining her again and she was returned to the cemetery to be reburied.

Ms Perez, who was three months pregnant, reportedly fell unconscious after waking up in the night to use the outside toilet at her home in La Entrada, western Honduras.

It is believed she may have collapsed in an apparent panic attack after hearing a burst of gunfire in the nearby town.
