Trump failed to book a hotel for his trip

It seems Trump and his team failed to book hotels for his trip....

President apparently couldn't get a hotel room for G20

This sounds about right. A friend of mind used to work in the travel department of the White House under Obama; Her department handled trips like this which is a rather large under taking. When Trump won the election they expected their replacements to visit them for training. They were let go on Trump's first day, but no one was ever trained to replace them.

Foreigner, it's a pretty telling sign of mismanagement if a presidential administration is so incompetent they forget to book something as simple as hotel rooms. Of course that's gonna be news because it shows they are incompetent bafoons.

Why is it not matter what you always try to make excuses for a guy who isn't even your president?

It is said at the end of the article where they will be sleeping.

you mean like you used the term "crooked media" & "local crookedteers"? AKA Trump & right wing rhetoric...

Oh but that's different because it's YOU saying it so that means it's all ok and not the same as all when someone you disagree with does it.. Am I right?

Se this is why I do what I do now days and take nothing any of you red hats say as meaningful or serious. I just give you back what you dish out and amazingly you don't like it. Jeez isn't that crazy?

You missed the obvious... When 1 admin leaves the staff for these positions is usually held over to help train the incoming admin's staff. Often the staff are kept right in place because most of the positions are not "political" but routine duties that don't bare weight to party lines..

Trump's admin has come in and fired many of these positions with out their incoming people being trained for the job, many have never even been replaced to this day. We saw this the 1st week when Trump's team couldn't even operate the lights in the WH and were having meetings in the fucking dark. YES that actually happened.. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/05/u...smtyp=cur&_r=0

Of course you can't look at this logically and understand why it was a problem, but instead resort to calling people who point out their incompetence "snowflakes".. Why do you do that because you, just like the rest of the right wing has gone fucking mental to the point everyone not on your team = the enemy..

I realize this is hard for you to comprehend but it's not gonna be "one" hotel room, it's gonna be hotel rooms for everyone who was part of their trip...

BaldBastard 07-06-2017 10:25 PM

The fault would lay squarely with the organizers of the G20 actually.

You think the Trumps travel alone and then decide to check in to a hotel somewhere once all the staff go home to bed?

It's the president of the fucking USA, he will be travelling with hundreds if not thousands of others.

Straight up my thought would be none of the German hotels were able to offer the level of security required... which is common, they would probably want the place locked down for a month before especially in Europe at the moment.

Crockett, it's not hard at all for me to understand, it's a big organization which occupies multiple "floors" depending on which hotel they book.

You know GSPOT, it's a screw up, no doubt. But considering the daily anti trump spam on gfy, I really don't care. Not the end of the world.

Here's instead something more interesting Gspot...

It's Funny, if CNN did their job as journalists Trump "might not have won" the election, quite ironic up until today they have only helped him while doing their upmost to do the opposite. CNN is digging their own grave, which can also be interpreted from popularity statistics. Hardcore CNN viewers are unaffected though...:2 cents:

they don't "book rooms" - they take over entire hotels. they have the entire press corps, secrete service staff, staff, advisers etc etc etc. its going to be hundreds of people. i was in St Petersburg during the G8 summit and from what i recall, the organizers (Host Country) provided all accommodations. In the case of St Petersburg, they even brought in cruise ships to house staff members. For the few 5 star hotels there, they were each fully occupied by one country only.

the failure here is a dishonest media and a gaggle of idiots foaming at the mouth, dedicating each waking moment to hoping the president of the own nation fails at every single thing he does.

This is exactly what seems to have happened. Usually the transition team comes in, evaluates each department, starts hiring, and either start training before the new president takes office, or the original staff remains on board for a few weeks after the new president comes on board to help train the new people.

With the travel department, no one from the transition team contacted the travel department, and instead they all got let go. There was no replacements to train, and no training done.

This explains why it took so long for Trump to make a foreign visit, and this explains why they failed to secure a hotel for a major trip.

It seems that most of the government positions are still empty.

Bladewire 07-07-2017 08:41 AM

Holy shit, big news here in America the last couple days, but only the a Gay leather biker Blanddog & 2 foreign redhats think it's fake, poor snowflakes can't admit their king cucks staff made a mistake. Such loyal bitches they are.

so you organise an event, but don't take care of good hotels for the people coming. The adult webmaster events are organized better, they know how to block hotels and rooms for the guests.

That's not true at all.

When our industry has an event, they have have a main hotel and they list a few options. We are completely on our own with booking our own hotels.

It's completely different when leaders of foreign countries get together in a city - they take over entire hotels. When the President of the United States travels to Europe, hundreds of people go with him. Not only do you have the leader of a country and their family, you have their staff and support teams, plus security. You have to understand when the President of the United States travels....

I am leaving for the AMNE Founders show next week and I just start planning out the local logistics for it now - mapping out the hotel I am staying at, the hotel the event is at, a few things I want to do while I am down there, and other places I might need for support while I there.
