Henry Rollins tells it like it is...
Henry Rollins: The Trump Dumpster Fire Rages On, and We All Seem Content to Watch It | L.A. Weekly
I always like this guy since I first saw him in concert. He came out on stage in Orlando and he's like "How about you skinheads".. I'm like ok that's odd but he did have a shaved head. Then a bunch of the ignorants cheered in the audience. He then went on to say.. "you fucking suck" and then I loled along with most of the audience. Every since then I always liked him.. He's spot on in this article as well.. |
And this, is what I care about in the president of the United States....this section below I snipped.
-------------------------------- The Obama years were so different. While I felt bad for the president and his family because of the attacks that started as soon as he began his campaign, I enjoyed how most of the criticism was more about the ignorance and bigotry of the accusers than anything real. Not that there weren’t things to take President Obama to task for; there were. There always are. That being said, at least when the man spoke, you had the idea that he was truly engaged and understood what he was talking about, whether you agreed with him or not. Much of the frustration from “the other side” stemmed from the fact that they knew they were outmatched. --------------------------------- I really wouldn't care if the president was Republican or Democrat. What I do care about is whether or not the president seems to actually know a few things, and know how to articulate subjects he feels strongly about. Trump is completely rudderless, except where conning for dollars is concerned. Is it too much to ask for the president of the United States to at least look like he has his shit half together? Bucking the establishment is one thing, but doing it by being an ass clown is not something that's not good for national or global stability. |
His Black Flag days were indeed better ...

He's the kind of guy you'd want to chill with during the apocalypse. |
"It feels like a long time since the election of comrade Trump. I remember the first few days, the frustration and accompanying exhaustion I felt knowing that the country was going to go backward."
"Sarah Huckabee Sanders is like Iraq?s good-news knucklehead, Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf. Remember him?" QFT |
