Noticed BITCOIN continues to slowly drop
 

Yesterday btc passed $2000 going down.

Have you already dropped your coins for cash or exchanged them for altcoins? :upsidedow

The altcoins are dropping even faster... Poor, poor miners :(

I think they opened up options trading for the institutions?

I guess everyone's retreating in preparation for August 1.

I did notice that a couple of altcoins I mine had like 50% shaved off their value yesterday. Ouch.

Yea, unfortunate. This fork thing is screwing things up for everyone. People are literally panicking.

The more who acts according to price drop the more will sell and the price will drop further.

If enough people sell it might hit $1 and gspot own you all :1orglaugh

They are going up and down for years, it is more than normal. Nothing to create a thread about.

it's because of the imminent FORK coming for BTC. There are only a preset mathematically defined amount of BTC that can exist. They will run out by 2020 so they are trying to split/fork it to another version of BTC and it's going to cause absolute chaos for a while. Nothing to do with alphabay going down, that was nothing.

I bought a shit tonne of shitcoin a few years ago when it was cheap. At the time it was something like 0.00000000023btc. Since then it rocketed in value 100x over and more and I made a killing.
Only recently has it dropped off but I am still wayyyy up on my initial investment. Currently in the process of exchanging it.

I heard currentlysober is mining them every day after a good meal.

This is different, BTC is going to split from 1st Aug.

As of today it seems to be pretty much back where it was a week ago.

EVERYONE on the DN markets are putting all their cash back into bitcoin and taking it out of the other markets back into their online wallets after alphabay and hansa crackdown. That was a master play on the FBI's part. They did Alphabay first, making everyone run to Hansa which was under their control for the previous month. That was masterful. Well played DOJ. Won't happen again though now they know how they did it.

probably few more days of growth then another drop

and a lot of systems you wont be able to swap between forks.
