EU army is rising, the planned next step in losing sovereignty.

Here in NL the army barely gets any funding of the government. Commandos are walking around with holes in their clothes and defective communication sets, at several trainings the army has to shout 'bang bang' (literally - this is actually happening) because there is no money for ammo anymore.

Now it just came out that EU puppet and Merkel cuck Macron (you know that guy the self destructive moronic French voters voted for - not enough terror attacks i guess) wants to cut $1 billion from their national defense budget, causing a clash between Macron and the chief of the armed forces, causing the latter to QUIT on the spot.

And guess what... the $1 billion goes to.... the EU!

We see it in a lot of countries in Europe who are members of the cancerous EU: Little by little every national entity is getting stripped down and sucked dry to let it eventually dissappear, to be replaced by an EU superstate entity for which the people in these countries have never, ever asked for - yet all of our tax money is being used for it. We do not want to be part of a dictatorial superstate.

who exactly is going to invade holland?...can you give a possible example?...also keep in mind the countries this mysterious entity would have to traverse just to reach yours...

can you give an example of who would do this?

no?

i think they cut the budgets on the military on purpose. Than they can say that we need an European army, cause that is cheaper. Now the Dutch minister president says he don't want a European army, but we know that guy is only lying to get a job in the EU.

Holland must stop sending the small army everywhere to support other countries, while they don't even have bullets to practice..

the point is you can not give a reasonable argument against an EU army and cutting costs...EU does not even really need an army...it needs a few nukes and nobody will invade ever...

Tasty1 07-20-2017 05:50 AM

i have more respect for the France armed forces chief than the Dutch minister. The Dutch minister should fight for the safety of the troops. She can't, she cut the whole budget. It is just a matter of time till their will be another disaster like Srebrenica.

"France's armed forces chief resigns after clash with Macron over budget cuts;

In a statement, 60 year-old Pierre de Villiers said he had tried to keep the armed forces fit for an ever more difficult task within the financial constraints imposed on it, but was no longer able to sustain that."

A European army could do something good. But i think only bad will come out of it. The army's of the different countries already can work close together. My problem with an European army; the people like Timmermans, Juncker will use that power to go fight in Ukrain or wherever goes they get a hardon for power. Irt will make the world less safe.

After the revolution of 1776 is newly independent US states were much like the nation-states of the EU.

[O]f all the cares or concerns of government, the direction of war most peculiarly demands those qualities which distinguish the exercise of power by a single hand. The direction of war implies the direction of the common strength; and the power of directing and employing the common strength, forms a usual and essential part in the definition of the executive authority. ... Not so long ago they were denying there were plans for an EU Army.

Every single thing we pay the EU for is in fact MORE expensive than if we just did it nationally. That's a fact. I am glad you brought it up because that is yet another disadvantage of the EU dictatorship.

an EU army is a good idea, it will certainly cut costs because you will not need 28 armies but one...if officials are corrupt you should focus on eliminating them and not the idea of one big army...

I am glad they exited...it will be a good lesson to others that you can not cherry pick consequences...sovereignty is an illusion if you operate on a global market...here is a picture of truly sovereign people:

http://static6.businessinsider.com/i...al-society.jpg

if you are not some uncontacted tribe that lives off the land and sells to nobody and relies on nobody, the you are not sovereign by any stretch of the imagination...the UK is like "we will eat cake and only boobs will grow" and this is not reality...

We were told during the Brexit debate there would be no EU Army. Seems we were lied to. There will now be an EU army, without the UK it won't be a very good fighting force but it will be.

The far cheaper and more effective option is to up contributions to NATO. But that isn't within the EU and under the control of endless bureaucrats who will do nothing.

Seriously how dumb are you? Of course it is, thats cause we live in a tiny country, with the EU we at least have a chance at getting benefits of almost a whole continent like us/aus/russia do. And of course that'll cost more than upholding our own tiny meaningless army. What the fuck do we need our own army for anyway if other (bigger) countries want to invade us they will. Banding together is the smart thing to do for the Netherlands.

Why would it help the Netherlands. As stated, i think that the EU politicians only will drag us into wars we don't want. Just like with the Ukrain referendum where the Netherlands has put an extra paper (that everybody ignores) that we don't want to give military help to the Ukrain and we don't want them to become a EU member.

That power hardons like Juncker and Timmermans are the guys that will start wars for their European dreams. Can you imagine you serve in the military and where under leadership of those bastards? Than there already would have been a EU war in Ukrain.

Wij is there NATO? .....

Before the EU became a dictatorial superstate, we were in the EEG which had all the benefits of 'banding together', while every country still had their own laws, currencies perfectly matching the national economies and total national control of everything.

However power hungry people at the top always want more control, money and power. Resulting in the birth of the EU and the failing Euro. They have no use for the voice of the people, so national democracy has become useless with an all-ruling dictatorship, constantly overriding and ignoring the voice of the people. We are being seen as cattle. And you think this is a good thing, talking about Stockholm Syndrome.

People like you have been brainwashed into believing everything is black and white. "You're against the EU so you don't want anything to do with other countries". This is a simplistic way of thinking that has been planted in your head by EU propaganda. The EEG was fine.

And don't start about 'oh without the Euro i have to exchange money, what a hassle'! Well, i rather have the "hassle" of the occasional currency exchange than have economies of countries completely destroyed because of the Euro. And exchanging money isn't even a thing anymore: You can use your bank card into any ATM around the world and get the local currency. So that point is moot even more.
And don't even get me started on the fraudulent conversion of our money to the Euro: We paid 10% too much for every single fucking Euro, making the ECB and the top officials billions! It was a scam from the start, and now that same fucking scammer is trying to organize our new government!
