Today has to be one of Spicer's happiest days: He no longer has to defend his boss and lie to the public.

mineistaken 07-21-2017 09:51 AM

He probably could not handle tolerant libby media attacks on him. Understandable, that machine is ruthless.

Spicer is a Catholic religious nut, the day in day out lying had to fuck with his head.

Just another example of Trump crushing the careers & lives of people who stood up for him, and by him, when nobody else would :2 cents:

Spicer thought he was going to get the Communication directors job and didn't. So he left. Huckabee Sanders was doing more and more of the pressers lately as well. Too bad we lose the SNL gold now. Melissa McCarthy was hilarious in that role.

Barry-xlovecam 07-21-2017 11:01 AM

It's a tough job being the Press Secretary (spokesman) for the Liar-in-Chief. Maybe, he is getting out while the getting is good.

kmanrox 07-21-2017 11:03 AM

It's not like there isn't 100 people waiting to get such a position.

Rochard 07-21-2017 11:19 AM

RIP SPICY

http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopo...l12n-1-web.jpg

Yet another sad day for America. I am so tired of all of this winning.

Rochard 07-21-2017 11:22 AM

Being as the White House no longer does video press briefings (which boggles the mind), when I hear clips from the briefings I am just stunned.... They lie out of their ass. It's way beyond the typical "spin" we have coming out of the White House.

They're holding the briefings on camera right now, live.

The new guy is a former Gokdmann Sachs exec. He's a smooth fast talker New York type like Trump. He's talking in camera live right now.

Crappy Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the new press secretary :disgust

He is on TV right now... Sweet. Twenty seconds in and frankly he seems smart.

We'll see.

Rochard 07-21-2017 11:56 AM

No, I changed my mind already. Now he is saying President Trump is "really loved". LOL.

This is just so much fucking fun already.

Rochard 07-21-2017 11:58 AM

Oh shit, great. He just said "It's complicated, so I am not going to answer that question".

First. Fucking. Day.

Fist. Fucking. Briefing.

He is already ducking questions.

He's gonna be behind the scenes , Sarah Huckabee is the on camera question answering press secretary, he sets the agenda behind the scenes to get Trump's message out. Scarramucci is slimy, he will not disagree with Trump. Trump doesn't hire people with their own minds, only minions.

He is a bigger liar and ass kisser than Spicer

Trump is "the most competitive person I've ever met. I've seen this guy throw a dead spiral through a tire. I've seen him at Madison Square Garden with a topcoat on, standing in the key and he's hitting foul shots and swishing them, okay? He sinks three-foot putts. I don't see this guy as a guy that's ever under siege. This is a very, very competitive person."

Always a tough and thankless job. He can go hang out with Obama's resigned press secretary, Robert Gibbs.

Time for a new con man to spin the unspinnable.

Silver_Shamrock 07-21-2017 03:48 PM

Before these "Trump is so smart to have planned this" folks start their chants of unbridled support, let me illuminate you all on some ironies:

Trump's top two advisors are Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon. NEITHER of them were even consulted on Trump's pick for Communications Director, Michael Scaramucci. Trump hired him anyway because Scaramucci got a couple CNN employees fired for false reporting.

Also an arrogant prick, Michael Scaramucci is a Fox News contributor who's made millions off of hedge funds. He also donated to both Hillary Clinton AND Barack Obama's presidential campaigns. He derided Trump like crazy all the way through the primaries, on Twitter and right on live TV.

He's deleted a lot of his anti-Trump tweets, but he can't erase ALL of his true feelings for Trump:

This is the problem with Trump. He has the entire US government at it's disposal yet he just does whatever he wants because "he knows best". He doesn't know best. He doesn't know the first thing about politics.

He kind of understands politics. However, he has practically zero idea of how government works. That is the problem. He seems to have this idea that he can guide everything like a CEO without a board of directors. Government can't run like that. It was conceived and developed to NOT be run that way. He's doomed to fail without proper guidance. And he keeps undercutting those that can help that guidance. So what's left??

thommy 07-22-2017 12:59 AM

does anyone have a statistic of how many marionettes already came and gone in this first 6 months?
i got lost by counting them.

The EU you religiously defend was built on lies, that institution is probably the biggest lie in the history of politics :1orglaugh

Why don't you go and count in your own backyard first? The EU has more marionettes obeying their masters at the top than you can count and they've infiltrated every single national government, just to ignore the people and spread the EU virus. Funny how you ignore all this and whine about Trump all the time. Why aren't you critical of the dictatorship you live in?

Of course, that's his job. He has to say whatever Trumph tells him to say.

I think Spicer burned out. I wonder if the new guy will burn out too?

Good question. The only people I can think of are the big names like

James Comey (FBI)
Preet Bharara (Attorney for the Southern District of New York)
Michael Flynn
Sally Yates (US Deputy Attorney General)
Angella Reid (White House Usher)
Chris Christie

One day this is going to make an epic movie.
