Could half a billion break a company, even as large as Apple?


Using technology in many of Apples handsets, it seems they were not properly licensed & the foundation first sued Apple in 2014!

As of May, Apple has $256 Billion cash on hand. So I think they will be able to handle this. Might get tight for awhile, but if they cut coupons and cut out coffee from Starbucks, they just might survive.

I wouldn´t have thought so either, especially considering Apple made $53,000,000,000 last year. I´m curious why they haven´t paid this debt off? The first law suit was 2 years ago. I´d pay this money, as it´s 1% of their profits.

They can afford it.

I always do according to me

"Apple already filed an appeal to the court ruling. A second lawsuit filed by the University of Wisconsin for newer Apple devices is on hold."

If they thought they would not get a better judgment on appeal, they would have worked a deal.
