I have 9000+ email of master degrees students
 

Hello, as the title says, I have more than 9000 email of master degree students in a scientific university, I have never considering email marketing as a way to promote my offers and websites,and I have no idea how it's work and i have got this list just from one of my friends and he also doesn't have any ideas how this email marketing works,he work in this university as a secretaire and probably he got this list illegaly, so please don't insult me in the replies and please don't make fun of me, just help me with my questions, how i can send an email to all contact in this list at once? do I need a software or just from google? again, I'm a newbie in the email marketing and this is the first time ever I consider using it.

Um, you cannot email a list "someone gave to you".

You can do anything until you get caught. CAN-SPAM is law only in the US. Maybe the law is different where he is from?

As long as we're breaking laws and committing possible felonies why not blackmail the 9000 people with threats of trashing their e mail addresses into hell?

Then he emails 3k people who have Gmail addresses. Gmail will quickly block him, and even worse, track him. Anyone who ever sends to that list again will have issues, and any time he sends bulk email again he will have issues.

CAN SPAM law is only for the US. However, if you piss off Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL (yes, AOL - you would be surprised) your email list will quickly be worthless.

However, there are so many mailers to chose from -- I get like 600 spams a day in gmail alone and on my private mail servers 100+ a day -- want some :P Many are identical with different mailing addresses -- my mail client is trained to move 99% of them now to the spam folder but they keep coming. This leads me to believe some actually click out {into the great abyss} The spammers must get some financial return to keep repeating their process.

It might be the direct opposite. It's difficult to get into inboxes when sending bulk email, but if you just set up a crappy sever and blast shit out... It's very cheap.

I meant to agree -- Google delegates most of the spam to the junk folder automatically.

I use a private email service for some of my domains that meets all of Google's requirements for the email to be white listed -- it is for business use and they do not allow any bulk mail or spamming to protect their status. The server is outside of US jurisdiction for security reasons.
