Watching Rogue One A Star Wars Movie

First time I heard about this movie, seeing it on Netflix, if you've watched it already, what do you guys think? :pimp

A film that would nurture the child inside of me ... if it was alive.

Best star wars movie of recent years ! Lovely beach scenes at the end too :)

LOVED IT. Saw it in the theatre when it came out last December. Good story, good acting, and a great tie-in to Star Wars: A New Hope.

The only thing I didn't like was CGI Grand Moff Tarkin:

It was very ambitious and seeing it the first time in the theatre worked for me, but after repeated viewings this CG character just became more and more of a distraction. The way he moved sometimes looked like a puppet. And in other scenes, his eyes looked too clear.

But of course I'm knitpicking. The movie was excellent, and the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy in my opinion.

I would second this. If they had kept Tarkin at a minimum, like they did with Princess Leia, it may have worked. But he was on screen far too much. It reminded me of cut scenes in video games (which can be cool).

Anyway great movie tho some of the supporting characters were not fleshed out enough for my liking (especially the blind guy).

I loved it. Really, got the same feeling as when I was a kid with genuine Star Wars Movies.

What are some of your favourite movies? Maybe we have something in common other than giant penises?
