If i find a way how to make that sum of money, i would never tell anyone about it.
So there is always a catch.

Yep you need people to buy in at those prices so you can cash out.

Profit is when you "cash out" not when you check stats of your current standings.

I can tell you most of the people that are invested in crypto and posting here are riding free coins/trading with the house's money...they've already pulled out their capital (read: zero risk) and some of their profits (read: already profited) and are now just holding long term for even more profits.

But of course it's everyone's personal choice whether they take profits or stay on the sidelines for years. ;)

My main problem is to find the alt coin which goes up instead of which one already went up and is ready to be dropped :D

Oracle Porn 08-11-2017 10:08 AM

what app are you using?

rowan 08-11-2017 10:27 AM

ry0t, don't mean to sound rude, but you were gushing about a pyramid scheme the other day, so it seems you have a bit of money and like to take risks. Play it safe, cash out some of your capital while you can. Or are we talking hypothetical dollars?

Also it seems NEO is really Just Another Altcoin, rather than anything official. The rise could be due to people thinking this is something to do with recent rumours about the Chinese government introducing a cryptocurrency. Ride the wave, but don't be surprised if it breaks hard.

Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong :)

rowan 08-11-2017 10:30 AM

Wait, did you buy in USD or are the figures just 'estimated' based on BTC value?

and to the person who said you want to get in on a coin that is about to go up, check out omisego (OMG) and Stratis.

You cant just start a coin and hope for millions. There is actual technology behind these companies such as NEO, OMG and Strat.

I understand where youre coming from. Yes all this is from speculation on the new Chinese made blockchain called NEO. I actually bought in for $16,680 not $17xxx it says. I bought my coin when it was $3360 but for $3177 each. Youre right about that Im not sure I want to take profit yet. I just want to wait a few weeks or months on this. I have a lot of hope that NEO will do really good things. People are saying it's suppose to be better technology than ethereum

ry0t 08-11-2017 02:04 PM

Of course you wouldn't tell anyone your secrets because you're a greedy little bitch dude.

It's an estimate based on current BTC market value.

ry0t 08-11-2017 02:20 PM

While Ethereum smart contracts can only be coded in Solidity, NEO supports many more programming languages.

Currently, the NEO virtual machine supports languages such as C# and Java. This massively reduces the barriers of entry since programmers don’t need to learn a new programming language in order to work with NEO’s technology.

onwebcam 08-11-2017 05:04 PM

As I said in the other thread unless the coin gives you ownership in the blockchain and paying you residuals then you're being played like a sucker. It costs millions per block in "gas" to use and even the coin holder has to pay this. I guarantee you the operators aren't making large corporations buy an coin on the internet to pay to use it.

Similar to PoS, Holding NEO in the NEO core wallet or NEON wallet pays you GAS.

There is always time to learn. Its quite simple to cash out using various websites such as paxful.com or localbitcoins. For over $1000 a day to any 1 person you need to be registered with Fincen if you live in the united states. You could use coinbase.com but they will do ACH deposit and it takes the same amount of time as paypal.

According to Wikipedia, Etherium isn't limited to Solidity:

Ethereum Virtual Machines have been implemented in C++, Go, Haskell, Java, Python, Ruby, Rust, and WebAssembly (currently under development)

Being an old school (and just plain old) coder I love C, but I'm not sure I'd want to be using it for a smart contract that could ultimately control millions of dollars of other people's money... when it comes to financials there's a whole lot more to it than just learning a new programming language. :2 cents:

That was my point - profit would also include the increase in value of BTC. It has trended upwards the past few days.

Some time back there was a BTC trading bot that seemed to be working well, until someone pointed out that it reported profits in USD, so it was benefiting from the rise in value of BTC. Turns out the returns would have been better if you'd just held your BTC and not used the bot at all.

Wikipedia is wrong Rowan.

Solidity, Serpent and LLL based on Lisp.

I think I misunderstood, and Wikipedia is actually saying that implementations of the VM itself has been written in C++, Java etc (ie, what the coin client would run) rather than the contracts being written in that language. Just like a Java VM would be coded in (say) C, even though the VM runs code compiled from Java.

But the original point was that Etherium programming isn't limited solely to Solidity, which you've reinforced above. :thumbsup

Course, if you have the money to invest. Don't forget the OP had to invest 5 figures to make that profit.

There's also a chance you may lose a lot of money in two days.

You can also invest in Katanga Mining. Than you invest in cobalt mining instead of virtual mining.
