Google works exactly like a government does. They fabricate an argument or reason most of the public would not argue with, like banning crazy, extreme racists. "Of course we're against them, so go ahead!", is the majority of the naive publics opinion.
The real reason for Google to implement it however, has absolutely nothing, zero, to do with so called "racists". It has everything to do with being able to censor anyone they wish, just to control the narrative.

advertisers forced google to crack down on this...they did not want their products associated with certain groups so they complained to google and then google took action...advertisers are free to not advertise on google if they do not like something...and they didnt like something....

Difference is that when you point out a flaw in the "left's" argument, you are labeled a "nazi" / "racist" / are likely to lose your job / etc. On the other hand if you point out a flaw in the "right's" argument at worst someone will half-jokingly label you as a "libtard" a harmless term.

There are many normal respectful discussions on other boards, between both sides, regarding these issues.
