United Nations issues warning to USA

The leaders of the "free world"?
Who the fuck are we leading?

A United Nations committee has issued a formal warning to the United States and its president, Donald Trump, over recent racial violence in the country, indicating serious concern that conflicts like the recent one in Charlottesville, Virginia, will spread.

The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) has issued an ?early warning,? the first step in its system of measures to prevent tensions from escalating and inform member states of the urgent need to address problems. It criticized the US for ?failure at the highest political level to unequivocally reject racist violent events.?

CERD may be morally right but they cannot ask that the US government not follow its own constitution and its guarantees. You have to prove harm under the US hate crime laws.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never break me." When you cross the line ...

[I]n addition to the criminal investigation of the individual who ploughed his car into a crowd of peaceful protestors killing Ms. Heather Heyer, the UN experts asked the US authorities to undertake concrete measures ?to address the root causes of the proliferation of such racist manifestations.?

?We call on the US Government to investigate thoroughly the phenomenon of racial discrimination targeting, in particular, people of African descent, ethnic or ethno-religious minorities, and migrants,? added Ms. Crickley.

Acting under its early warning procedure, CERD also called on the US to ensure that the rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly are not exercised with the aim of destroying or denying the rights and freedoms of others. It also asked US to provide the necessary guarantees so that such rights are not misused to promote racist hate speech and racist crimes.

Hitler and his *master race* horseshit dogma caused one of the greatest traumas and death counts the world has seen in warfare.

Hate is a universal human trait -- it has to be tempered with reason.

Amendments have been made to the constitution when times have changed.
The times have changed again.

Time to fix the laws and fix America.
There is no glory in maintaining ineffective laws that lead to self destruction.

Continuing to allow hate groups to "rally their troops", when these groups have a proven history of violence involving murders and bombings, is stupid.

Hate groups who wish to remove other racial/religious/ethnic groups from America have no
legal means to do so and can only succeed through violence and intimidation; therefore
their speech is in fact "riotous".

The supreme court decisions allowing such speech have conveniently only protected speech that some the justices euphemistically practiced themselves.

The problem with that is limiting the restrictions of so called *free speech*

You know that the neo-Nazi were allowed to march and demonstrate last week near Berlin on the anniversary of Rudolf Hess' death in Spandau Prison? There were many legal restrictions -- no Nazi flags, Nazi songs ... etc.

Quote:

The crimes of the wartime regime are a matter of great sensitivity in Germany, where symbols of the Nazi regime, such as the swastika flag, are banned and where education about the dangers of totalitarianism and racial politics are a staple of the school curriculum.

But Berlin's senator for interior affairs said banning this gathering would have been impossible to reconcile with the political freedoms of a democracy.

"I would have been delighted with a ban," said interior affairs senator Andreas Geisel. "But we looked very closely at the matter and concluded that unfortunately arseholes also get to benefit from democratic freedoms."

Hess, who was the last war criminal in Spandau Prison when he died aged 93, was appointed Hitler's deputy when the Nazis came to power in 1933, a position he retained until 1941, when he flew solo to Britain, believing Hitler wanted him to negotiate a peace between the two warring sides.

He spent the rest of the war in prison in Britain before being convicted of crimes against the peace at the Nuremberg military tribunal.

There are plenty of limits on "free speech"; one being "time and place".

You can't set up a megaphone outside my bedroom window at 3:00 AM and shout about your god.
That would be disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, harassment, violation of the
noise ordinance and, depending on the words, maybe intimidation.

And you can't say "God dammit" on national TV; unless you are a football coach.

Fuck the UN. They are a useless pimple on the backside of humanity. Most of the countries on the UNHRC are the worst offenders against human rights on the planet. The whole organization has basically become a shill for Arab oil money and dictatorships.

Seriously, I can't understand why we still pay for the majority of their budget, and keep hosting them on US soil. I say dump the UN out of here, and let someone else pay for their useless asses to sit around while their armies rape young girls around the world.

End of rant.

Thank you for your attention.

The UN was born from the defeat of Nazism. No wonder red hats hate it.
