Really? They sound a zeplineee to me... |
Guy has a pretty high voice and definitely idolized Robert Plant in his inflections.
But the band's musicianship level plus the song structure and lyrical content are a million miles away from what Jimmy Page did with Led Zeppelin in terms of songwriting and playing. |

These guys sometimes sound much closer to me, but still not close enough to be put anywhere near the same league: . |
I heard this the other day and thought "Is it possible there's a Zeppelin song I've never heard before?"
Now I know. |
It could be the shadow of Led Zepellin ...
|
I was at a club on the weekend, and around 1am this song came on, and the dance floor flooded. In eyeshot of me was a beautiful, stunning, long-haired girl in a cowboy hat. This girl, and her dancing, in that moment, cemented this song in my mind. Was a freaking babe.

He's not worthy of shaking the last few drops of piss from Plant's cock much less be compared to that rock god! |

Listen closely to the music. Not a patch on LZ.

To me, they're hardly Led Zeppelin. A laughable comparison, really.
In fact, I would say that they want you to think Led Zeppelin when you hear them, so you'll be that much less likely to realize the song posted by the OP is a shameless rip-off of Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog" (Now you're messin with a son of a bitch). https://youtu.be/kyXz6eMCj2k Kids these days.... |
