North Korean missile passes over Japan

A North Korean missile has passed over northern Japan, the Japanese government has said.

The government's J-Alert warning system advised people inthe area to take precautions, but public broadcaster NHK said there was no sign of damage.

The Japanese military did not attempt to shoot down the missile, which passed over Japanese territory around 6.06am local time (10.06pm Irish time).

South Korea's military reported that an unidentified projectile was fired from a region near the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, in an eastern direction into the Sea of Japan.

Trump said he was going to stop them. He said they would never have ICBMs. Just like any other promise the man ever made, he lied. He failed.

This has been eight months of fail.

We've followed the same policy with North Korea for the fifty years, and it's worked. We just ignored them. And we've avoided war.

No matter what Trump says, there is nothing we can do to stop them from getting this technology. It doesn't matter. What are they going to do? Nuke Guam? California? The moment they do North Korea no longer exists. Pakistan has nukes, so does Iran. We can do everything we can to try to stop them from getting the technology, but eventually they will get it.

Only North Korea is in the hands of a madman. Pakistan is not. Iran does not, or did not, have a viable nuclear ICBM.

If Kim gets away with this, pandora's box is open.
