It was a nice political brand is why they did that. like all things political it is basically a lie or at least a stretch of the truth, although Lincoln was uncommonly honest according to history.

All I was pointing out was that it is George Washington that is credited with the quote of "I cannot tell a lie." which was based on the story of George and the Cherry tree which, of itself, was probably a lie.

You know, I never really thought of it that way.... We have a casino here in town, the "largest in Northern California" and it's making bank. They started with the casino, added in a huge parking garbage, a hotel, and now concert hall - last week they had Chicago.

How can you not make money with a casino?
