Will Irma hit Florida?
I have been watching the track for the past several hours. For the past 6 hours Irma made a jog to the west that was not in the predicted track.
If it continues that way, it could go south of Key Waste and end up out in the gulf, not up against the Florida coast like they have been saying for the last day. Of course, it can do anything it wants to and the only thing actually predictable about a hurricane is that it is unpredictable. I hope it just fizzles out and goes away. http://www.madspiders.com/images/irma6.jpg . |
I still say Texas...
I have to be in Nuevo Laredo, MX on Monday but I'm sure I'll be out of there before the storm hits.. |

The 24/7 footage is repetitive, dramatic and narrow and I have to go online to see it's actual trajectory, which is NOT due North.
I'm conflicted. On one hand I want to see destruction, because , on the other hand I want it to go west and die in the ocean without making landfall. All the sources I've accessed are saying "oh it might not make landfall" if that happens :disgust: |

High pressure over the northern part of the US is moving east, causing the storm to be pulled into the west side of the high pressure and over land. |
