I would like to see Drumpf make an improvement. Or do something. Or a lot of things.
The reality of our world is that everything was getting better under Obama. This is not to say Obama was our savior; Things were so bad they frankly couldn't have gotten any worse. Trump - and the entire Republican party - campaigned on a platform telling us about how horrible everything was and how they were going to "Make America great again". Things weren't that horrible - Unemployment was in the 4% range during the campaign. He said he was going to make our military strong again (hasn't done anything), he was going to protect our borders (hasn't done anything), he promised to fix the VA (hasn't done a thing), and he promised us North Korea wouldn't get ICBMs (which they now seem to have).
This is really not difficult.
Healthcare - It's clear Obamacare is working. In fact, just today they announced today that more people are insured in our country than ever before. It's also very clear the public likes Obamacare. Come up with a list of bi-partisan improvements and push them through.
Infrastructure - Everyone loves building things. There are so many things that could be built. We have droughts in California while the Oregon has more water than they need - Build a pipeline. Build some reservoirs. New freeways from city to city - Why is it that Florida only has a handful of freeways leading out of the state? Why is all of Florida's gas needs shipped in on a boat? We have bridges that are failing... This is an easy win.
Taxes - Our tax system is broken. The shit companies get away with. Stop spinning bullshit about how we are taxed at the highest rate of all countries because we aren't. Come up with a decent and simple tax plan. Tax everyone at the same rate, no deductions.
Military - Trump promised us he would make our military stronger. But is there a plan? This is easy - come up with a plan to make our military stronger and with more advanced technology. Fix the F35 airplane program, start building new transport planes, modernize our US Navy fleet. Create a cyber command (which I believe they did) and expand it to help out private business.
The VA - Trump promised to fix the VA and hasn't done a single damn thing. This is a bomb that is eventually going to explode on Trump. Wait until a 95 year old Vet dies waiting for an appointment. If the White House wanted to do something, start building more VA hospitals and then smaller regional offices where Vets can get treatment in rural areas.
Back to infrastructure... We are going to have electric cars and cars that drive themselves - time to upgrade our freeways.
I know I tend to see things in black and white, and I tend to minimize things but my lord, tell the truth, and come up with some ideas.
Trump promised us to much and eight months later he has completely failed to deliver on everything. He hasn't done any of the things he promised. He told us he was a great negotiator, yet every deal he has made has pissed off one side or the other and he cannot get anyone to agree on anything. WTF?
