Well, there's a whole sub-genre in Hebrew called holocaust jokes, been there ever since.
If you wish to have a serious talk about genocide, it can be done with out the political use of shock value, and imagery (I am an Israeli, so I know first hand).

If you really wish to be versed on the topic of the Eichemann trials, I suggest you read Hanna Arendt's compiled reports about it.
