Is anybody here plays it? I'm not talking about some freak tournaments, but with your family member of friends. A week ago I found an ad from a guy who sells them in Moscow for 1 ruble per card. A thousand of absolutely new printed non-played cards he sells for about $15 USD. And that's for real, I've bought 1000 just for fun (he has much more for sale) and I can even post a photo of them - a thousand of various absolutely new (usual, silver and gold) MtG cards from 2015-2017 sets. I'm just curious on how is that possible...

P.S. They are not fake. I know how the original MtG cards do look like, how they felt in the hand and even how they smell.

Oh, oh, oh, I haven't gave a link to the ad of the guy who sells the MtG cards for $15 per thousand. He's a local one and he doesn't ship them by mail.

Those that came in my 1000 card package are from 2015-2017 sets. Perhaps he has the older ones - I didn't ask. But all of them are 100% new and unplayed.

This could be possible if he's a dealer and just selling off non-valuable cards. Most of the value in MTG cards comes in the sought after rares and mythics. The other cards are not really worth much. Junk rares could be worth only a few cents and commons are mostly worthless.

Course I can give you the contact info, but it's a phone number and I'm not sure the guy speaks English...

The thing is that there is really many valuable cards (gold and silver ones). You can even arrange with him how many of each type you want.

P.S. I can buy yet another 1000 card pack to check it :)

If you decide to buy, make sure to tell him you need cards in English only, because he has cards in Russian too.
