What drives me up the wall is the reporters speculating about possible things, and then all of the talk about the victims, then the survivors and their stories.

I've been in news blackout mode as well. I found out about the shootings 2 days after the fact and I'm going back into blackout mode as they are just rehashing this shit continuously and it consumes everything not healthy.

There are too many oddities and lose ends in all of this -- but no proven conspiracy.

In the end we will have perhaps congressional investigations with the inevitable "he acted alone" conclusion -- then years of conspiracy talk with no proof. </case closed>

The tin hat brigade are more rational than you'd think.

They're looking for a reasoned explanation, and are having to stretch the limits of credibility in order to find one. But if the cause is mental illness, then it would defeat all attempts to rationalize his behavior, whether mainstream or fringe.

I am just having a TV news blackout. I read news online. I just don't want to hear about the victims and all of that. It's sad and I don't need all of that.

A reasoned explanation my ass.. The conspiracy nutters will always claim the official explanation is fake and go off on some tangent about their dreamed up ideas. Never once do they ever accept the official reasons no matter how much evidence is shown to them but they will instantly believe nonsense with no proof if it's from someone they agree with.
